Good to see you back even if it might be for a short period of time. Always enjoy watching your professionalism and skills as the captain of this beautiful yacht.
Always nice to end the season with some calm weather. For you it is off to home and for the boat it is at least changing the stabilization system. Hope you will be able to make a video of that as well. Itinerary of next season already known ? Enjoy the time off with the family !
Espiritu Santu is such a handsome, competent-looking yacht. Much more appealing than blobby English and Italian yachts or odd outliers like Numarines. Thanks for the video, always enjoyable to experience life on a motor yacht.
When we would lay-up an ore freighter for winter that last trip seemed to take forever! The lucky 1/2 of crew was a cloud of dust crossing the dock as soon as the ladder hit ground. I never had enough seniority to be lucky fortunately we docked within a couple hours of home so staying for an extra week or 2 wasn’t terrible. Ahhhhh the days. Enjoy your home-time!
It's good to see you back and always enjoyed watching you're doing your thing you're professional wisdom what is it to learn something interesting from your videos have a good Christmas and a happy New Year Christmas
What kinds of upgrades will you be making at 7 Star shipyard? Glad to see you posting again. Hope you make videoos from the shipyard too, those are always interesting.
I have missed your opening talk to your videos, reminds me so much of your time on AWOL, miss that. at 6.30, your going past the part of Spain we love so much in particular Calella de Palafrugell.
Only been with you this season but your on my subscribe list now have a lovely family Christmas back home here in uk -happy new year !! 😅 see you next year if you put out a vid of the canal I’ll find it. Chrs stay safe Malc uk 🇬🇧
Really enjoyed that Tristan, looking forward to the canal trip Hopefully I will be back down the south of France next year, looking forward to that beer 🍺 😀
Nice peaceful trip, great way to end the season. Looking forward for the trip to the shipyard. When are you going to do the long awaited engineering tour of the yacht.
Corrente means both electricity and current, so there was a bit of confusion since a sailor will think about the marine current at first. Fantastic images of Livorno, i worked there 20 years ago
Blimey, it's been a good while since we've seen you Tris. I know how busy Med seasons get. Luckily I've done dual Caribbean seasons, so you can tell owners/charter agents to sod-off by September.
Great video and apologies as we were in Madeira Beach hurricane and lost most everything! So now back just curious if you ever put pre and post departure guides out for all of us, and if you have them both for=all crew? You are the best, thank you again!
Really enjoy your video content Tristan, you and the crew present yourselves as very professional. Why was there such a large gap (2 months) between this episode and the previous? Were you not allowed to film?
“La corrente” is spot on but when in doubt try “ELETTRICITÀ “ ! And by the way “la corrente” same word, is also the “stream” of a canal or a river or even a political influence “una corrente politica” . Funny language Italian. Bentornato in Toscana capitano .
An Explorer yacht that has sailing 'seasons' is just so strange to me.. If I owned that beautiful little ship I would live on it all year round and never be in the same place for very long.
@@SuperYachtCaptain Oh it would absolutely require a crew/captain that had similar desire to travel the world, and were I lucky enough to own a ship like that I'm sure that one of the more difficult tasks would be finding crew/captain that would basically be getting paid to do what they would love to be doing anyway! Unless I win a big lottery though, it's just a dream and a problem I will never need to solve.
I am confused. Your passage was 385 miles at 11.2 kns, ie approx 34 hrs, so one night at sea. However you only had 5 crew onboard. 3 of the 5 were deck watchkeeping officers, one was the C/E and the 5th may have been a chef/cook. That being the case, where were the deckhands and who were the lookouts for the night passage elements? I saw an ENC chart system, not an ECDIS, but no charts? Why are paper charts not being used for navigation?

Welcome back cap't! Glad you're posting again.
Hey, thanks!
@@SuperYachtCaptain Aren’t you Nina‘s husband? Is she ok?
Nice! And without wind - so easy even a yacht broker can do it! :) Have a good winter; looking forward to the yard vids.
Missed these. Glad you get to back and see your family!
If I could embark on a new career, this would be it. Love these videos. Thank you.

When you were showing the route you were going to dry dock thinking it reminded me of that time you did it in AWOL , very cool.
Nice to see you back.
Just found you again, not seen you since you delivered AWOL to Miami….Fantastic 👍

Can’t wait to see the final cruise up those canals! What a season indeed, the kind of viewing many people only dream of!

Good to see you again⚜️
Great to see you back, hope you and everyone enjoyed the racing. Have a great winter and enjoy whatever you and the crew are going to do

Incredible parallel parking 👏 👌 👍🇺🇸

welcome in Livorno!
I remember 7 star ship yard from the old videos!
Awesomeness!
Amazing video, i’m the guy who came to say hello 😊

Great place. been there too 😎

Are you going to have to take the comms tower off of this boat to get up the canal Tris?
Yes 👍
Love your videos. When you’re recording in the helm, who is on watchout?
Waters sprouts near Barcelona interesting.
Tristen, Can you bring your personal friends when you are going without passengers? Would the owner mind?
love sail gpt. go nz
Nice job
Looking forward to the canal trip, do you have to remove antenna's like AWOL?

Yea we’re going up the canal again. Are we going to be taking down any bits to get under that bridge this time? 😂
Seen any thing of your old boat u were on ?
Welcome
An Explorer yacht that has sailing 'seasons' is just so strange to me.. If I owned that beautiful little ship I would live on it all year round and never be in the same place for very long.
I agree with that but then I would insist on a Captains rotation otherwise I will never see my family.

Hi Tristan u ok ❤ have any thing old boat u we're on ?
Will you sail the Caribbean during the winter?
Costco is saving the world with there paper straws! (I hate those straws)
Just thankful my paper straw will save the environment
A canal video and then a long break? No, that doesn't work for me. You might have to take the camera back home with you! :)
hi How noisey is it below deck when underway
Not noisy
That was one thick water spout. All the ones I've ever seen were thin.
How many languages do you know Tristan?
👍👍👍

Flag surveyer? 😮
Love the MY "Espiritu Santo"... so much more enjoyable to follow than MY "Awol"...
👍
👍👌
So what took you so long to put out a video?
Did you enjoy Barcelona races?
Stowaway Checks?
✌❤👍
When you get to the end of the canal, you will be within walking distance of the airport to fly home
Stowaway search....??
It was completed
So good to see another video, but please stop saying 'copy that'. Roger and Wilco are so much more meaningful...
Copy that 💥😉
Roger is f...... american😂
It’s been great seeing you back,,, more more more
