Another great video, just wondering... are you striking when you feel the fish take ...or are you allowing them to take line before raising your rod ?
Bit confused as lots of videos i watch , advocate letting the salmon take line off the reel

Its a way i set the hook so i lift fast
Fpr many years i let them take the loop but fot certain rivers i lift Fast
