Made my template box & love it! Only change I made was in the length of the notepad cover. Made it to where a 3x3 post it sticky pad will fit inside the cover. That way it can be refilled when it gets empty!

Plus there are time when you do a few and you would like to do another but you could not fine the you tube that show you how. I really think this is really good to give as gift. I just found this, I want to say as a mom with crafty daughters, that template box with the measurements seems a perfectly reasonable so that they know what they need. Heading to the store to get a few supplies to get started. My girls did say it makes it easy to see it.

Love this. My friend sent me this box filled with stuff and I never could find measurements for this. I think your "reasoning" is a great idea. I am making these for Christmas and now I can just pile my patterns, etc and do a great assembly line which is what I need in my life!

I love your method of making a template with the matting measurements and corresponding letters to panels. I have a problem if I make something and then go back to make another one and have to determine the sizes again. Also, I like the idea of having all the mats cut out and then just glue. It makes the process that much faster. I may use this template idea for a number of other items.

I made one of these too and it took me 2 days to make a Cricut file. It totally tested my patience and brain. Your idea would have made it so much easier.
