This is part 1 of 2 videos showing how to make a stationery box. This box holds standard size cards, 3x3 cards, gift tags, and more. Please visit my blog to download the pattern for this box. danniesdesigns....
Please disregard the request for this part of the tutorial on the second part. It is beautiful and thanks for sharing this with us. Your tutorials are so great.
WOW!! This must be the coolest thing I have ever seen! Amazing, going to look for your blog right now! Have to try making one for my mom, she will love it! Thanks for sharing.
What a great gift. I love it!!! Looks like I have a new project to make a bunch of. I also did subscribe to your channel. Looking forward to many more videos.
I saw this on Splitcoaststampers but you are taking time and really helping us GET IT. I think I have plenty supplies other than inbellishments .I have ribbon, but no flowers. I do not know how to make them, Being 60 is not old or bad. I love painting, crafting. Whoa, love my new H20'S. But Crippling Arthritis limits me. Never knew I ordered flowers, would they be nice or junk because you can't see them . And dollar store flowers are big and fake looking and ugly. So, anybody have advice. Too late for Christmas ?
nice project, but i would have also liked to have seen the remaining parts that showed the front flap. The part where the stamp pocket, note pad, and pen goes. That said i did enjoy the project.. :)
It is very nice and I enjoyed making one, however it doesn't take the size of cards that I use (unfortunately mine are just a bit too big)! what size are you calling 'standard'?
+Eileen Kenny - Right?! I thought the exact same thing! Please be a little bit more clear about standard size cards. I also watched both videos and she doesn't show how to add, or make, the little note book, or the pen,or the stamp holder. I was also disappointed that at the end she didn't put it all together and show us how well it fits, what to do if you are just a smidge off on either part, ends, ect... I would suspect that the advice in such a situation would be to trim off the extras to meet the end that's shorter... And, if the lid is too small, measure the completed and assembled bottoms (hold together with a ribbon) top... Width and length. Use those measurements for the top box and add an 1/8" (inch) to the final measurements on both the width and length. From there add 3" for the sides and then follow the rest of the instructions as they are in the video. I really enjoyed this project, thanks so much, for posting it!
I added a reply a few comments down and realized that I should have added the alternative instructions as a new comment at the top, whoops. They're for if you end up being off in your measurements and the top doesn't fit, how to measure a new top.
So easy and so awesome! It's beautiful! Look forward to seeing another video from you.
