Absolutely brilliant ! I wished. I had gotten a whole these great toys in 1970's America. I had the G.I Joes series, but they weren't as detailed and military as Action Man.
Fabulous....these ads make you wish it was the seventies again so you could get everything when it first came out...the ads really show the potential of the figures uniform and equipment. 53 with a fair sized collection and always a fan
Flipping hells, I hadn’t seen all these, excellent work!! Thank you! Some very surprising things were advertised, not always the biggest sellers - curious
Action Man is up next to be brought to the big screen, Barbie got a movie so it makes sense our “Greatest Hero of Them All” can have one too. Maybe have its premise be a War/Spy Action film, inspired by both the Palitoy & Hasbro eras of Action Man.
There's one missing which I haven't seen since it was broadcast on TV about 40 years ago; At the end the voice-over guy says, "With Eagle Eyes and hands that grip, he's ALWAYS ready for action!" Can't track that one down.
I remember getting a talking eagle eyes commando in 1984 with a helicopter, jeep and loads of bits! Imagine those adverts being filmed today - it would be "action non binary lgbtq" smh.
I’m sure the voice of some of the ads were by Patrick Allen and English actor of the 70’s / 80’s he was in The sea wolves war film

“Rom meets Action Man. Why? Only YOU know!” This is what toys are missing now.

Thank you! your correct, a lot of more obscure action man items is included. I suppose the best stuff just sold itself :)
Great video all my childhood memories 😢
Absolutely beautiful , this is as exciting to watch as it was then .
Glad you enjoyed it

There was a comic book a few years ago. They are currently making a slinky movie, so I can see action man appearing soon.
Absolutely superb collection, thanks for putting these all in one place. Some I've never seen and some not for a long time...
Glad you enjoyed it
Came here via your Facebook post. Did Tom Baker (Dr Who) do one of those voice overs? Excellent video BTW.
I believe that is him :)

Thats interesting to know. Must have been late 70s as I believe nearly all 80s ones have been found.
AWESOME!! 👏🏻😇❤️👌
Bloody brill, thanks!
Great collection- thanks for sharing
My pleasure
Michael Jayston later voiced Action Man adverts sadly died on Monday
Brilliant!
Thank you!
Fantastic. Well done for doing all this. 👍🏻
Thank you, took many years and lots of subtle editing.
A wonderful compilation! I don't suppose you've got all of the *ACTION FORCE - Action Man in Miniature* adverts as well, have you? 👍
I have a few, I might put them together next year. My knowledge of action force isn't as a good as Action Man
@@TimeTunnelToysUK - Cool! "Blood for the Baron!" 😆
Fantastic adverts ,EXCITING !
😮pause...in the opening commercial we are shown a pilot in a cockpit...was this available or just a mockup for advertising 🤔
Mock up , but there are official Action MAN planes available. One in green, the other in red.
Great collection, but it's a shame the captions are so intrusive.

The intruder was RACIST for going after Tom Stone if you ask me!
