Wow! Thank you sir! I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to knots and construction, so thank you. This helped me out a lot. I am mixing some concrete for a small pad in my backyard, on a slight slope. I will be using a level line for the first time, and the information you are sharing is very helpful. Thank you.
I use that "cow hitch" or "engineer's knot," but the string I get is so slippery it keeps undoing itself. I wonder if there is a certain brand of string that works best?
I am a homeowner and used a couple of these techniques when the roughnecks came over for some concrete work. Earned me a little more respect! Thanks.
You are welcome!!! Glad the info helped you out, thanks for watching👍

We're putting in a new driveway and I used your methods. You make me look like a pro and I shared with my friends and gave you credit. Muchas gracias.
You are welcome & thank you for watching Deco-Crete TV!!!
I know that two finger knot is called a “larks head" and that knot that you twist 6 or so times is called an “engineer's knot". Great video.
Thanks for watching!!
Also called a cow hitch, which technically means it's not a knot. Hitches comes apart on their own, knots need to be untied.
@@MaksimKupfer thanks for the info. I never knew there was a difference between a knot and a hitch.
Thank you . I'm a little rusty and I need a reminder on the lark's head tie or I guess it's called a cow hitch. Appreciate you brother
Great video and really appreciate the slow demonstrations.
