    Have this jacket for a couple of years now and it’s a really good jacket.
    Nice and warm in the winter and loads of air vents for the summer.
    The collar could do with a bit more adjustment.
    The biggest issue for me is not the jacket but the Airbag system.
    To turn on the airbag you have to go through layers of zips and Velcro to get to the button.
    The battery has to come out to be charged which is a faff.
    It needs a power plug somewhere on the jacket so when you hang the jacket up you can just plug it in and have it sitting on trickle charge ready for the next ride.
    It also needs a power button somewhere accessible when the jacket is worn.
    Loads of times I’ve forgot to turn it on. So it’s off the bike gloves off jacket off zips and Velcro undone power on. Zips and Velcro fastened jacket on gloves on back on the bike!!

    Bad idea combining the thermal/waterproof liner as a single removable layer. In hot but raining conditions the outer textile will eventually wet out, leaving you a soggy mess if you remove the liner. Adding a layering mechanism to remove only a thermal part would be much more versatile.

    It seems a very good product.... only a question: how can i keep clean this jacket? I don't think that it's possible to wash

      Hi due to CE regulations RST are not permitted to recommend washing. its best to maybe wet lightly with a sponge and mild detergent maybe give it a scrub using a nail type brush if necessary. Use a re-proofer to add water repellency back. Removeable liners can be taken out and washed at low temp and allowed to air dry before replacing.

    Hi, is it possible to get the inner padding of the thermal liner system on the Paragon 6 to put in this jacket? Are they compatible? Thanks

    • @thevisorshopcrossanmotorcy9996
      @thevisorshopcrossanmotorcy9996  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hi it is not sold separately, it would fit but as the inner lining is cut to suit each particular jacket it may not fit perfectly eg you may find it has excess material as its for a looser fit than say a jacket with a more tight fit.

      Which of the 3 jackets is most suitable for cold wind? Which one offers better insulation?
      I need a resistene jacket for L'inveno, which one do you recommend?

    I really like my RST AdventureX jacket, Well made with many features and I would buy it again. However, there are some issues. I bought it thinking it had the airbag system, but it didn't. It's label "Air Tech System" but no Airbag. So be careful to buy the one with the airbag installed. RST will not sell you the airbag separately. Sadly, the Airbag system is a subscription a very confusing, expensive subscription. So I will get something else for the airbag. On to MY other issues with the jacket. See the straps on the arms, it makes it very difficult to use the zipper. You either have to work the zipper under the straps or unsnap the straps. Talking about the snaps, there are beautifully made, top quality. However, very hard to close, NO really! Considering cutting off the straps and connecting them to the other side of the zipper flap. Then the straps would not block the zipper. Next is the front pockets, there are no side opening, so you have no ware to put your hands. I've slit the pocket on the side. Last is the Collar, it's tongue rubs on the neck and gets caught on the helmet strap. The hole collar need a redesign. Last is RST as a company, they are very unpleasant people, forget about getting any service. I still stand behind my earlier statement, "I would buy it again".
