Glad to have found this channel, It's nice to see I'm not the only weirdo who wants to extract those precious metals. Just got a job as a computer/server/large electronics dissassembler and recycler for an ewaste company after doing this as a hobby for the better part of a decade, and these videos are helping get a good grasp of some of the more intricate details. If I want to improve my knowledge of components to better approximate the value of circuit boards, do you have any recommendations of specifics to dig into?
The 6809 not the 6800 was the uP that was truly great before its time. It's just that it was too expensive to be used in many designs. The 6502 was actually the stripped down version cheap as dirt and why everyone remembers that and not the 6800/6809. Myself I'm interested in building something using the cosmac 1802.
Cool stuff
Now that is what you call good service lol
I wish I had places like that in the UK. We have no reclamation shops for electronics here

You should have also bought a full box of purple ceramics for gold recovery. You would have made more than the cost to buy and post

The molds look like cadmium welding mold for grounding connections.
Thanks for the tip.
Wish radio shack was still around
Nah. Radio Shack lost what made it great long before they closed.
