8:30 I want to explain why they forced you to order just that pasta. In this kind of restaurants they change the menu everyday because they all use very fresh fish (they fish in the morning and cook it for lunch). So they change it everyday based on what they fish in the morning. This also tells you that everything they use is fresh. With that being said, you guys did the best thing. Don't go to touristy places in Italy. If you want to enjoy the REAL ITALY, you gotta go in these places. Good job guys, very nice video (I'm italian so trust my words).

It’s nice how Josh asks Gabie if she is happy. :) Gabie expresses at times in her videos she sometimes feel unhappy (but she said she fell for climbing and that made her happier). Also, I love her way of describing food since maybe she is a chef that the way she expresses it is naturally describing the ingredients and it’s texture or something we don’t usually notice.
You described the same feelings and thoughts I’ve had over time. (Getting to know them superficially through their videos). I appreciate their relationship. They’ve both grown a lot.

I like how Josh's accent changes and has these lil American inflections when he's with Gabie, but when he's with his Mum or with Ollie, it's just straight up British.

I wish you'd do more of these little trips around europe, just to show the diverse cuisines. Places I can think off immediately: Andalucia, Sicily, Transylvania and so many more can be added to the list.
Fun fact: orecchiette means little ears in italian and it's a type of pasta popular all over italy but especially in Puglia region! In Bari (Puglia) you can find ladies making them by hand on the streets

My boss is Italian, comes from the mountainous region, and he tells me that a lot of the sauce flavor comes from using bone scraps, fatty scraps, any meat scrap in the sauce at the very start and letting it simmer for hours
I’m still amazed at how much food Gabie can stuff into her mouth and always reminds me of a video, from long ago, of her with Joel’s gf. Gf was doing small bites and Gabie said you’re not Korean if you can’t get a lot of stuff into your mouth all at once. 😂 I’d find it hard to chew with my mouth and cheeks bulging with so much food in it.

That's an area of Italy that we haven't seen but I now want to suprise my wife by taking her there next year sometime. It looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and drive in Italy, but it will be a very extended weekend, I can assure you of that.

Wow, you guys was literally at less than one hour drive from where I went to relax the last weekend, in the beatiful Tuscany hills, where you can find many amazing winery and oil mill who provides also apartments, so you can enjoy the beautiful landscape, the quiet, relax and also the great wine all in the same place. I started to follow you recently, but I love how you happily enjoy everything you show on the channel, and I was so happy you came visit my amazing country. Hope you're both come back soon, there are a lot of amazing places and great dishes to try all over our peninsula. Cheers from Milan (where we have two amazing historical dishes: fried pork brain with jam and fried frogs... sooo good).
