I always felt it that way. But idk why now with this video and stuff... couldn't this be a prophecy or something like that? The coming of a new god, Marika knowing about this, hiding the rune of death in a timeless place and the divine gate in another, preventing the inminent outcome. idk just speculating, but i promise to give this a thought with this prophecy perspective about the coming of Miquella in mind

Radagon is Marikas St Trina ... The GEQ ruled during the middle ages of this universe with the Nox ... and the Hornsent symbolize renaissance and a colonial empire which was betrayed by the Marika revolution following the exploitation of shamans.
From my point of view, the GEQ could be Marika's mother. And it doesn't make sense that she's a saint jar, we understand her life through Miquella's actions and the only thing they have in common is that they grew a tree ... so Radagon and St Trina come from the tree their master grew. Radagon is linked to the Crucible, because Marika used the energy of the Crucible to grow her tree. While Miquella slept and has a personality linked to sleep.

This is Miyazakis world, fleshed out by grrm. Both obsessed with the human mind and the metaphysical. This world can be taken literally of course, but here is a metaphysical interpretation.
The lose of the statue is well known as the pose of Child like innocence.
There is an aspect of the mind known as the inner child, which in psychological terms is always accompanied by a shadow aspect. So we have an inner child and a shadow in the same room in game.
Doesnt make sense for Maliketh to reside in a room with a statue of the geq, as he was shamefully defeated by her. He would however willingly be in a room with marikas original self, the thing he was tasked to protect and the only version of Marika he has true respect for. Imo the statue is Marikas inner child, or the first persona, later discarded (Miquella), and what surrounds the inner child? "id, ego, superego". The most common image that represents this Freudian concept shows them in the exact same orientation the 3 wolves are in. One submerged, one mostly on top, one covering all. Not saying this is true, but i think the less literal people take the story, the closer they will probably get to Miyazakis story.

My Brother let me enlighten you. Farum Azula was Once an Academy for Empyreans to learn and study Incantations and Dragon Communion and also to select a New Vessel for the Elden Ring. Either Marika was chosen before or after to what happened to her Village, but what we have to understand is that Marika was also selected as an Empyrean, brought to Farum Azula and received her Shadow Maliketh. She and GEQ were not the Only Empyreans in Farum Azula, making Farum Azula a Place Full of God Candidates. It’s similar to the Raya Lucaria Academy only that in Farum Azula the Empyreans learn Incantations and Faith. Then the Gloam-eyed Queen probably got seduced by a Serpent or Snake and came to the realization that by stealing the Rune of Death and Killing all God Candidates would leave only her as the Only Empyrean to be chosen as the God for the Coming Age and to be the Vessel of the Elden Ring. The Godskin used the Skins of the Empyreans that she slaughtered, that would explain their Name because they use the Skins of Empyreans, People who have the Quality and potential to become a God. Either Marika survived, helped or saw that Massacre coming and was chosen by the Elden Ring as Proxy because of what GEQ has done. Similar to what the Guidance of Grace did after the Demigods were not suited as Gods and or Lords for the coming Age. Using the Power of the Ancient Elden Ring , the one depicted in Farum Azula with the Rune of the Unborn still installed in it to turn the Empyrean-less Wolves into Beastmen to make her own Army. Also if The GEQ is Snake related wouldn’t Messsmer be her son. This is how I see it. Marika waged War against the GEQ, then created/transformed for the First Time ever to Radagon just to seduce the GEQ, impregnate her, then betray her and take away her Children to raise them on her own. It’s Similar to what Radagon did to Rennala.
Godwyn, Messmer and Melina will never know that GEQ was their Original Mother. Because Marika tried to erase mostly everything related to the GEQ and Radagon during that Time Period, that being Farum Azula and later Shadowlands. Now Marika Equipped with the Elden Ring and an Army of Beastmen had 2 choices either wage War against the Hornsent to get Revenge or to seduce them to take everything away from them. Marika decided to use Radagons Tactic, seduce the Hornsent Lord, promising them a Age of Divine Horned Beasts, then getting Pregnant with twins being Morgott and Mohg, just to betray and sacrifice the Hornsent King for her own Goals and for Revenge. Hoar Loux who became Godfrey was probably manipulated to play the Role as Godwyns, Morgott and Mohgs Father, shortly after the Scadutree Sap was Harnessed and distributed and the Shadowlands Sealed with Messmer and Melina inside. Using Godfrey mostly to Wage War while Marika seduces the People of the Lands Between via the Concept of the Erdtree.

Ok... I clearly missed out on something. How / why do we know Farum Azula is an "academy". It feels more like a place of cult. There are no "books" nor stone tablets to register knowledge. Is more like a cemetery, a ritual place for transition of sorts, a temple, but it doesn't feel like an academy. Even more, empyreans are "seldom born" and we know only about 4 of them, which in this timeline would only have served for Marika and GEQ. They are so few that most likely were home-schooled like Miquella by Radagon or something, let alone have their own academy. I mean, I'm not discarding the possibility, on the contrary I just want to know a bit more about this interpretation.

Miquella does have at least two connections with Farum Azula. Miquella's Needle can only be used to supress the Frenzied Flame inside Placidusax's arena, and the location itself can be only be seen from one other place outside of it: the Isolated Divine Tower in which you can restore his sister Malenia's Great Rune's power.

I believe Radagon was married to the Gloam eyed queen and they gave birth to Melina and Messmer. The fire from Melina and Messmer and the snake connection is the give away. I believe Marika usurped the God title from the Gloam eyed queen when she slew her during a ceremony among the hornset people. She then raised Melina and Messmer and told them she was her mother.
    Just my theory.

Finally I met someone else that believes this. 2 months after Elden ring was released, I always felt radagon , was with the gloam eyed queen at some point. And had Melina. One reason why marika had melakanth kill her. And Melina never refers to marika as her mother, while mentioning that she has a mother that gave her purpose. And her hair isn’t deep red like Melanie’s, radahns, messmers, or their father radagon. Miquella is blonde resembling more of marika. I have a belief the gloam eyed queens hair would be pale or white, and that’s why Melina’s hair is more of a pale pink, her eye closed with a skeletal hand tattooed on it, I always felt all pointed out, she’s from radagon, and geq. Just don’t know if before rennala or after rennala.

I think I figured out what the ancient elden ring actually is. A pot being planted with the elden ring growing inside. You can see the same symbol without the gold along the floors, and it looks like roots spreading with a good portion of the picture being underground. The minor erdtree church shows another form of the elden ring, but instead of a big jar a big tree is growing. It's like potting a plant before planting it somewhere, but the jar/pot is also a crucible, blending all life together in attempts to create a god

This statue is from prehistoric age during the reign of Placidusax and Metyr, and represent the first empyrean chosen by the two fingers, who will receive the fell god of the giants and allow the age of the sun.
The wolves represent the allegeance of beast men to humans, and that's probably why actual empyreans are follow by a wolf figure shadow.

Are we sure it was the fell god though? It seems like the ancient age primarily worshipped the outer god of death since Farum Azula was some kind of capital and is literally a mausoleum. Also the gravebirds in the shadow lands are made in the image of the Twinbird which is the death god's convoy. Personally I think that era of cultures saw the outer gods as forces of nature rather than specific entities which is why there isn't any depictions/iconography of them in hornsent culture, but I think the outer god of death was most venerated as a higher power

    • @PaulStackhouse
      @PaulStackhouse ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

@@briancompau1694 I'll try to keep it short so I'll oversimplify, but basically I think we need to align with our vision in reality.
First, at the beginning, there is the creation of the universe with the appearance of light in the void.
Then there are the great geological eras with the formation of the Lands Between by meteorite showers, then the appearance of life with the Primordial Crucible. I think it is exactly where we fight the Scadutree Avatar, it is a part of the territory that has been so badly affected by starlight shards, that life has appeared there, like in our oceans, but it was no cells and bacteria but a system of roots and a big tree, the Great Ancient.
From this tree emerged the first species, up to the dragons which are the dinosaurs of this world.
Then Metyr fell, like the meteorite that ended the dinosaurs, and allowed the species to obtain a new trait, a fifth finger, which allowed them to develop their intelligence.
First came the beastmen of Farum Azula, comparable to chimpanzees, then the Titans, comparable to the first men, whom I would assimilate to Neanderthals. It marks the prehistoric age.
Together they built the first society, Farum Azula, which allowed dragons to adorn themselves with gold, which gave them the power to perceive the "Elden Ring" and attracted the gaze of the Universal Will and the beginning of History.
Jealous of the Elden beast (and dragons by extension) and its ability to control the Elden ring, Metyr made children, the two fingers, set up a cult with the "fingers ruins", built the divine towers and the gates of divinity, which is her way of controling the Elden Ring by imprisoning parts in avatars, these are the outer gods.
The first of these was the god of the giants, the one who transformed them into Titans, and who marked the beginning of the age of the Sun of Farum Azula.
But Metyr's plan is not the UW's and the dragons have gotten wind of it. Probably because the god of giants was making them grow excessively and their new acquired will is no longer assimilated by the process of returning to the Crucible creating the first problems with death (cause they use coffin and was not burried in the ground).
Then came a great cataclysm, probably a meteor shower, which destroyed most of Farum Azula, placing what remained of it in a protective storm, the giants locking themselves in stone coffins and letting themselves be carried by the river.
From the rot of these unburned bodies and spirits sprang the Numens, which scattered throughout the world, forming the ancient ruins that can still be found today, and marking the beginning of Antiquity.
Rauh will give the Astrologers then the Carians, Uhl will give the Nox who will first develop underground, and those near the Crucible or the remains of the Great One, will give the Hornsents.
It is from this moment that the cult of twin birds will appear, cause of the dragons, and that the bodies will be burned after death. We are still technically under the rule of the dragons, but their sun age is waning and the cataclysm has separated them from the titans, turning them into giants again.
Finally to finish quickly, the gates of divinity will be used 2 more times, once by the Nox, which will give the Gloam-eyed Queen, and once by the Hornsents with Marika.
The development of the society of the Nox goes through the weakening of the Dragons with the eclipse of the Black Moon. They represent the Middle Ages of this world, and an obscurantist period.
Metyr will also influence them and will allow the emergence of GEQ at their head.
Their peak will end under the wrath of the UW who will send Astel to destroy them.
It is then the Hornsents who will become the new emerging force. They represent the Renaissance, but also the colonial empires, and Marika will forge a revolution under their period in order to free the shamans from their exploitation.
So, okay I understand your idea but it doesn't really make sense in my vision of the game.
For me the cult of the two fingers goes back to the society of Farum Azula, and it was built to the emergence of the "Fell God of the Giants" and the age of sun, then was used for the GEQ and her age of the Black Moon, but Farrum Azula was already destroyed and in a tempest at this time.

It makes sense that the GEQ was the god of the previous age. That era venerated the outer god of death as gravebirds are made in the image of the Twinbird, and Farum Azula was some sort of capital and is both a mausoleum and a sky burial ground. I think the GEQ was Eiglay, or they were two aspects of a single god that Marika killed to ascend, and her children were then reflections of everything she saught to erase from history: Godwyn becoming the prince of death, Rykard joining himself with the reincarnated serpent (Rykard's boss arena has a gloam haze), her Omen children, etc.

I think we just don't see any iconography or depictions of the outer gods in hornsent cultures because they were a naturalistic society that perceived the gods more as forces of nature and derivative of the crucible, but still worshipped them enough to satisfy them. Only when the balance of nature is disrupted like in the church of the bud or the events of the Outer God Talisman do the outer gods manifest more directly.

I think the depiction is basically just faith acting as protection, I'm not however saying that it's not protection from the 3 empyreans vying for the position

I tried to wait till the end of your video, but I was like shouting at the screen lol but another thing that represents that blended nature besides the trees, statues, animal/human, human/animal mixes. JARS. A cruicible itself can be taken as a form of a jar. An interesting thing in Doaist Magic is the idea of magic through: jars. It's also a very old chinese belief and even forms the word for poison in their language (it used to look like a jar with bugs in it, but over time its turned into the word for poison they have today, but you can still see the remnents of it) The idea that a jar is the form of heaven, earth, and the divine, and thus can create anew from what is put inside (a reflection of how you are a vessel and can create from within). A form of baneful magic with it ("dark" magic if you will, but not always necessarily with bad implications. 'You must know the sting of the nettle before you can learn to make the salve' sort of thing is a huge aspect of baneful magic) is when you take a jar and fill with it all of the most aweful, poisonous, deadly things into the jar. They will fight and mix and mingle until the one that survives is the most deadly, poisionous of them all not only that its the strongest, but also that it had to fight, eat, and be poisoned by the others and still survive. Absorb the others to become more powerful. Sounds a lot to me like what the Horsent were up to but in a twisted way where they thought they could make you better and more evolved through this process, taking advantage of the aspects and strengths of the numan to force this process, ignoring the true suffering and aweful it can bring without balance and care. After all, an antedote by another name and amount is called poison.

The connection bw vagram and GEQ is very far fetched. Also radagon hated the crucible

Okay, so your video and the comments got me thinking. What if Melina is the GeQ, and is Ranni’s equivalent of St. Trina? Melina being burned and bodiless after Ranni performs the black knife ritual? Idk how well it fits with the timeline, but if Miquella has another self, and Marika has another self, it kinda stands to reason that Ranni may have one as well. Plus it may tie in the association with sewing as something she picked up from her father

So Radagon is praying to thwart Marika, who knows how long in the future?

radagon is ofcourse anagram of 'a dragon'.
maybe the GEQ was a dragon also?
i've always found this old version of the eldenring somewhat more 'draconian'.
And this a placed in Farum Azula...dragons country.

What if the gloam eyed queen is the vessel for radagons body? The same way mohg was for radahn? At the gate of divinity marika and maliketh slayed the gloam eyed queen, put the fire giants soul inside the gloam eyed queen, named it radagon and then fused with him using the bodies of the hornsent

I have an Idea. Maybe that Ember Egg was Radagon and Marikas First attempt to make a Child. Something went Wrong and they had to Embed the Baby in Golden Ember, the Twist being it’s still alive and has Powers bestowed to it. When Radagon saw that Magic and Spells can’t help him to Fix the Baby, he left it with Rennala and returned to the Erdtree Capital with the new knowledge of how to conceive a Child with Marika. But Rennala kept the Grim Art of Reincarnation for herself, just Like Miriel said. I believe that is what Radagon was looking for when he Entered the Carian Royal Household
