During the Korean War U.S. Prop Planes shot down MIG's on a couple occasions-- The Hawker Sea Fury shot down a MIG-15 and The AU4 Corsair also shot down a MIG-15! Vietnam-- A-1 Skyraider shoots down MIG-17 I believe on two separate occasions!! Request Fly Either-- Hawker Hurricane, Super Tucano, P-47, P-51, or Spitfire! Against The MIG-15!!👍

Just imagine it. You ambush the invading masses and have them where you want them. Over the noise of battle you hear the distinct whomp whomp sound. Looking up you see a flying tank heading straight towards you. Smoke from its pylons as a missile starts to corkscrew its way towards you. Whats your final thought? Mine would simply be 'bugger'

@@urgentsiesta7606 what Steven said. In the real world using that kind of firepower in an urban environment would probably be against the Rules of Engagement owing to the high potential for civilian casualties. Which is demonstrated by the fact they took out a residential building on that run.

just out of curiosity, how do you get your observe doors shut so fast? my keybinds dont work anymore
The observe on and off are now 2 different binds that’s how I did it
I had an issue binding on my hotas as the close doesn't want to bind, "O" works well as a toggle open and closed to shut the doors quickly as well

30 mil currently is ineffective against infantry. No HE rounds, you have to score direct hits.
I'm agree, looks too unreal, that hostile trooper stays in the middle of those hits, still intact...
@@leonpilot737 this is a known issue. Whether we will get HE or not is unclear though. I don't think there is a switch that allows to switch AP/HE at will inside the Hind, like there is in the 50. If that's indeed the case (I'd have to check the flight manual to be certain) then the only way to "switch" to HE would be on the ground before the mission, ditching AP completely...
@@ZarviroffSerge @Zarviroff Serge Nowadays DCS doesn't have the correct implementation of any fragmentation munitions (CBU-87, M-151 and so on) as well as HE rounds. So the simulation core should be revisited in this aspect. Maybe the simple implementation based on proportional equations (distance vs impact) would be enough for the beginning. I see DCS forum has a lot of topics concerned about it.
