I've got my eyes on the orange one. It ticks all of my boxes. SS frets, super thin 17-19mm neck, 430mm radius, hard tail bridge that I know I like, bare knuckle pickups, and a nice color. I have listed 2 guitars and a bass on reverb to help ease the sting of 2000 dollars
The green one still looks better in my opinion. It sounds great too, but I went with the sparkly blue one (2019 models) with the Fishman active pickups. I was hoping this year they came out with a better color than green. The orange is a step back. I guess I'll have to keep waiting till next year. I'll make sure to bitch about it to them at NAMM
@@MattyPeq I have the green one, the only benefit I could give for the green is that it has a vibrato bar… but in all honesty I don’t need the vibrato and that ebony fretboard is so nice. Green + ebony would’ve been killer.

it's only 7 options. There is no multi voice for split positions. So the voice switch should only work for the neck and bridge positions in humbucking.
FYI. The lug on the washer is meant to be inserted into a hole in a metal case. There is a corresponding lug on the inside of the washer which fits into a spline in the threaded barrel of the switch. The idea is that the whole mechanism is locked into position and can't rotate once fitted. You're welcome.
Peter Tiddy but it’s not locked it’s just hanging out waiting to scratch your fingers? If it were mounted below the top or inverted it could serve that purpose.
@@PooNinja That's correct, i'ts mounted the wrong way. The washer with the lug should be UNDERNEATH and locked into a hole or slot. These switches were originally designed to be used in sheet metal cases not thicker cast alloy or plastic.

My 150.00 pawnshop RG has a Gotoh Floyd Rose, two Fred and a True Velvet for pickups. It's a force of nature. Unfortunately, it is 3EXFM1. That means it was one of the monstrosities released in 2008 (I believe.) specifically for Guitar Center. It's a godawful dark blue with "Flamed Maple." veneer, with the body and neck bound. Ugly as a mud fence. Those Prestige models sure are beauties, but I am heavily invested in my diamond disguised as a lump of coal. Love your channel, you've helped me make a couple of purchasing decisions.

However, I would generally prefer reviews which comes from at list a few days of playing a specific guitar. There are many points that people wont realise via playing the guitar for a few minutes... Still nice review and I will keep watching. -One more thing; would you please ask Ibanez doctors if they dont put locking tuners on 2.1 K guitars, at least they can allow buyers to do it themselves without saying; if you change tuners, guarantee becomes null and void!

Each year Ibanez guitars go up 10% in pricing. That is 200 bucks for a Prestige each year and rising. Income is decreasing for most of us these times. What ist going on Ibanez? Are you nuts?
I hope everyone understands that when you say 'african mahogany' you really mean "slightly dark-ish wood that isn't mahogany, doesn't sound , feel or weight anything like real mahogany". And I agree that 2000 EUR guitars they should come with 2 piece bodies with the seam in the middle.

A half split two piece body doesn't make sense from a structural pov, i don't get why you complain about it not being cut in the middle.
