I love these simple recipes so much! Not only are they great for when you're on a budget but you can always add whatever you'd like. Thank you for inspiring me to eat healthier and now that I'm pregnant I'll be trying a lot more of your recipes.

I know that you always post healthy choices, the majority of what you post could they be for a diabetic also? I'm asking because I'm trying to help my mom make better food choices now that she has been diagnosed with type 2. I really appreciate your channel and thank you again!
Hi! Many of the recipes I post could absolutely work for a diabetic, but again, as with everyone, we are all different and manage our health differently. It's amazing you're wanting to help your mom, and I think one of the best ways to help is to inform yourself about the condition and help her get more informed! Hopefully her doctor has been helpful in sharing information and resources, but it can only help more for us to seek out our own information. There are certain foods that may be better for her, or maybe even a lifestyle change - it can vary! Someone who's diabetic may start a vegan lifestyle and find that helps, someone else with diabetes might start a ketogenic lifestyle and find that helps! It will really depend on the individual, which is why I can feel a bit uncomfortable telling anyone what to eat or what not to eat, or even putting specific meal plans out there for people to follow. I believe information is power, and with that information you have the power to CHOOSE the things that would be best for your health (and your mom for her own health). Most of my recipes are provided with serving sizes and nutritional information, so you can gauge which might be good choices for your mom, based on things like the carbohydrate content. I'm so glad you're asking questions and wanting to learn, I hope this can be helpful in some way!! Thanks for being part of this community!

I made the cashew butter squares and YUM! Disclaimer: I didn't have cashew butter, so I used natural peanut butter and I had left over toasted coconut and threw that in too. But still, your ideas are fabulous! Oh and last night I did the chicken/veggie dinner idea too! Hubby couldn't get enough of this one! Tomorrow's lunch will be the tuna/avocado lettuce wraps! YAY so glad you like the recipes!! Thank you :) I like to use erythritol or sometimes stevia, or if I need a sticky sweetener I'll use blended dates, maple syrup, or a low sugar/low carb fiber syrup!
What also works great for chocolate mousse is silken tofu. So you have a lot of protein and less fat 😊 You just have to blend it until it's smooth and add melted chocolate and sweetener of choice 😋 Then you have to put it in the fridge. PS: I love that you always have vegan recipes in your videos 😄

I've always only used bananas, oats, and water in my pancakes. Now I'm gonna try it with the almond milk and see how much I love it. It's one of my favorite breakfast, with a little peanut butter on top.
If you had a t-shirt I would wear it!. I have fibromyalgia. I need to eat regular meals but when I am in a painful flare I dont have the strength or mind to make something healthy. These are perfect and ingredients I already have. Love your channel! Big Hugs

YUM that sounds delicious, I love peanut butter! I also think cashew milk could be great in pancakes, it's nice and creamy :)
Make sure your almond milk is watery because I made the oat banana pancakes and they were really thick! There is a lot of oat flour in this recipe.
