Wonderful interview, you allowed him to express his inner feelings.
Thank you for the comment, @Ten Ten. I enjoyed hearing Fr. Johannes's perspective and insights. We talked at length before and after our recorded interview. He is a wonderful man. Buen Camino!
Fr. Johannes God bless you! I love your videos, so inspiring.♥
Padre Johannes, seguo i suoi video su yutube in quell'eremo sulle Alpi Piemontesi.
Father, I have enjoyed watching your pilgrimage and your life in your hermitage. I sent your TH-cam video to my therapist. I know that sounds a little strange but I’m searching. I lost my son 3 years ago and I’m working with a therapist who believes I need to start a pilgrimage of sorts. We have both enjoyed your videos. Thank you!
We are all walking a pilgrimage in this life. Buen Camino.
Amazing, how demanding must have been especially when you had no apparent food supply maybe for days in remoteness. 🙏
This priest is so dear to my heart.
What a blessing to have found this channel by way of watching a couple videos on English manor house renovations. This is funny-odd because my main interest is learning more about my Faith. There was a couple with children who apparently must do some renovations -- I didn't see those videos -- and they visited Father Johannes at his hermitage. It's such a lovely place, and found him to be so reverent towards the Faith that I had to learn more about what he teaches. This is one of the videos that I found linked at his channel. And now I've found a wonderful resource for learning about my Faith through pilgrimages that I'll never be able to personally undertake. What a blessing!
I enjoy your you tube channel, thank you
Awesome! really enjoyed this podcast. Blessings to the Father Johannes and Sacred Steps
Amazing, inspiring, jolly & sensitive interview. Many thanks 🙏🌟🥾
Thank you so much
I love that Fr Johannes has a photo of Don Camillo and Mayor Peppone on his wall. 🥰
What a wonderful human being. Danke fuer alles.
Thank you for your kind words! Buen Camino!
Father Johannes is living the full life and we are the beneficiaries of that.
Bless you sir.
Well said! Buen Camino!
Extremely surprise to see such strenght given and consacrated to God and prayers. I personally do little walks in the mountains and the purity of the air and sound of the wind makes it easier to pray. You actually SEE the beauty of TRUTH.
Dear Father, what you have to say and share is very important to people everywhere. We need more voices like yours. I try, through my little blog, but it is not enough.
Living one's faith through nature/walking and interacting with your fellow humans is for me personally the best way to reach God and Jesus. That way you can interact through the Holy Spirit with all layers of Godliness and there are many. Thank you for this lovely download.
Buen Camino!
thank you - inspired
Buen Camino!

What is Fr. Johannes Address.
You can find more from Fr. Johannes fro, his website linked in the notes above. Buen Camino!
A ghiro is an European fat dormouse (Glis glis). For me it's a reminder to live a quiet life in winter. And to leave people alone in summer, which they don't if they smell food or find objects to play with.
Is the documentary still available? None of the links are working
The documentary is available at Fr. Johannes's website linked in the show notes: www.4kmh.com/
Johannes, if you are looking for a good English publisher who publishes quirky books try Batsford Books in London. I’ve recommended you already to the owner Poppy Powell. You may be ideal for their publishing house.
Seguo il tuo vicino Martino ogni settimana e sono contento che anche tu hai preso questa mania di vivere sperduto in mezzo e di fare i video della tua esperienza. Tanti auguri per un felicissimo anno nuovo.
As they say in Scotland where I live- Lang may yer lum reek!
