Can’t argue 5.0s eat up top! I traded my 19 5.0 10 speed for a 21’ Camaro SS 10 speed! 5.0 definitely faster , Camaro is quicker ! If that makes any sense haha / in other words camaro is a much more torquey car which makes it quicker off the line and more fun daily driving but put em both up for roll racing Camaro will jump due to that big ass 6.2 torque but that 5.0 will eat up top ! Both engines are animals just depends what u like ! At the end of the day American muscle baby !

@@KingKongDill Scats are horrible for mods. The 5.7 is a better platform for that. When I dyno my gen 3 coyote with only catless headers, full exhaust, and e85 I was pushing 487 to the wheel.
Car moves out💪. I have a Coyote tuned by Lund on e85. You only get that e85 tune once pump gas is dialed in. Plus it ain’t no base file 🤣. I know we like to say that lol, but it ain’t. You running full spark due to fuel and then nice crispy shifts by Lund right out the gate! Only tuning that may need to be done is them fuel trims, that’s it. Car moves out though brudda👍💪💯. P.S.-them maybe stock headers, but something is missing from those stock headers👀🤣🤣, if you know what I mean.

Doesn’t need a cam at all. Just depends on tuner and combination. Slow lt1 had a bolt on 6th gen in the 9s tuned by gpi. That’s the type of car he needa run if he wanna run a well put together camaro but his car blew up so kinda too late for that
@@440iife4 he would still get walked by a fbo gen3 mustang in a roll race from 60. 60-130 in a camaro fbo is a full second slower than a coyote but about a half a second faster in the 1/4 mile...this isn't a smart race for a lt1...especially without a ported high ram with a 1 inch spacer and the throat modified...and that's $2100 for like 15hp and some shift extension lol
For 5.0 to out pull 6.2 on top just shows technology out doing Cu. Those 4cams and more variable timing is hard to beat! But give Chevy /Dodge credit for still having push Rod single cam engines! But if the Chevy was 5.0 it get smoked!

Match the compression of the 5.0 and make the camaro rev to 7500 and watch who wins. Then you could still add heads and cam and even add more rpm. 6.2 can be made nasty.
