I started learning how to cube a few weeks ago and you've been super helpful over that time. I appreciate the effort you put into your editing as well bruv. Top tier content.
I personally find the 3-gen practice in cs timer better, because it isn't just a single cross piece, there are more F2L cases and most importantly OLL and PLL are more realistic, because in my case with 2-gen and in this video most of the PLLs had solved corners and OLL had all the edges oriented, whilst the 3-gen has all kinds of OLL and PLL
Hands. Down. The. Best. Cubing. Video. On. TH-cam!!!! Seriously this is amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for approaching training just like you would for any other sport/discipline. The cubing world needs more videos like this.
bros left hand is so good that in his pll algs video he puts the left version of the edge switching algs, including both Ja and Jb perm. LIkeWHA , bro legit does mains left moves
Epic! I agree, 2 gen practice is funnnnn imo one of the best ways to practice is this: Look at the scrambled cube, plan first pair and cross once that is done, look at the cube and plan next to pairs, then execute it For last pair, predict eo and then execute on the last couple moves of the last pair, try and see the oll execute the oll, and on the last couple moves predict pll Once youve don it a lot, it will help a ton!
for some reason, i like all f2l cases equally. They all just feel so satisfying when u solve it. It feels so soothing when it just slots into place when matching with the center piece and white edge piece, whether they are a bad case or not.
The subtle changes in the video, the dimming of main video, and slightly enlarging the facecam when you are talking, ohhh i love it. These subtle things is what tell how much effort you put into your vids. Really appreciate it. YOu see, as the quality increases, it will be so seamless it will be difficult to identify them. It doesnt show how much effort goes into making it seamless. Love your vids
omg thank you this has been SO helpful and way fun than i expected it to be this video quality is just mind blowing and your tutorials are so interesting .Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to learn speed cubing. I have learnt the beginners method and can now solve a cube in around 2 minutes from memory, so I am happy about that. I am trying to work out what to learn next and how to learn it, but I am finding that videos about learning the next step, eg speed cubing techniques or any more advanced techniques, are made by speed cubers and I just can't see what they are talking about. They will mention pairs, and "cases" to look out for, and even though they have their cube on the screen and are vaguely gesturing at it, I can't see what they are talking about. I understand there is a technique called CFOP and I understand that is an acronym for Cross, F2L (First 2 Layers), OLL (Orientation of the Last Layer), and PLL (Permutation of the Last Layer). But I have not found anything yet that shows how to learn CFOP or even really what it is. You tube is so flooded by speed cubers making countless videos in which they lingo their way through impossibly fast actions that I can't catch, that it is difficult to find videos that actually teach the technique to someone who knows NOTHING. I don't know what a "pair" is, I don't know what is meant by "taking them out" or "putting them back in", or those extremely rapid blur of moves that seem to result in a solved cube. What is it you are doing when you do that?!?! I mean none of this as a criticism of anyone making videos on a topic they enjoy and are clearly very good at. I was mainly wondering whether anyone had any recommendations of tutorials or lessons to learn CFOP that go, what for a speed cuber would be agonizingly slowly. I would love it if someone could explain what blocks in the cube they are talking about when they show examples. I hear them say things like "that is a good edge" or doing this will result in a "bad edge" so we don't do that. And I just can't grasp what they are talking about. I have watched so many cubing videos and speed cubing videos and CFOP videos that the TH-cam algorhythms now deliver me cubing videos almost exclusively since it thinks that is all I watch. There are millions of them and I cannot find a good tutorial on CFOP and what it is (yes I know that the acronym is but what are each of the parts in that abbreviated name). I would love some suggestions!! Thank you so much.
Thanks dude. I am really looking forward to practice this. I am just a beginner but i loved when i solved it for first time. hopefully, i will get fast enough.
U R2 U' R U R2 U R2 U R2 U2 R U2 R U that scramble is amazing. I average around 30 seconds on normal 3 x 3 but i got 5.90 exactly on this 2-gen scramble. Its actually crazy and i think you should try it

One of the best ways I practice is doing this scheme: 1 - solve full f2l 2 - align one of the edges with its respective center color 3 - use the new color cross as a new f2l case 4 - repeat With this i can practice my f2l infinitely, and I also practice being color neutral. After that I practice my oll and pll algs
This is actually really good for a scramble I can practice OLL and PLL algorithms on. The F2L is quicker, which means I can get to my algorithm practicing goodness sooner.

I also create a practice but it is like a test it calls the Rubik's cube Challenge Test What is a Rubik's cube Challenge Test? The Rubik's Cube Challenge Test is a multi-level cube-solving activity that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The goal is to solve 1 Rubik's cube within the given time frame(you can choose the time frame). Each level you complete will introduce a more complex cube scramble to solve. predict oll from last pair, predicting pll is not worth it cuz you need to slow down, also plan first 2 pairs better
