They make similar music to this and linkin park. People who like this song, but don’t love it are just people who grown up. While not being religious, I interpret this song to be about love. The band may have intended it as a song about faith for god, but for me, in my interpretation, it speaks about the love between my forever-man and I. I first discovered Red during our first and hopefully only break-up, but there was something this song taught me about love and what I learned actually helped me to realise that the person I lost is the person I do truly love, and I shouldn't have let them go, despite our problems. Thankfully he and I are in contact again, sorting our relationship out, this time just us involved. Although the relationship is now quite different, he and I are happy and we have a new found appreciation for one another, and our love feels nothing short of incredible. This song reminded me of what love is, and how strong it can be. We are starting again, and the difference this time is we both know what we have to lose. This band deserves so much more credit and popularity. They're so underrated. Someone, somehow, sort it out XD

Wow...this song gets me every time. Possibly my favorite on this album. It has a certain duality to it. One, it can be seen as a cry out to Christ. Two, it's about relationships. I lie here typing this now at 1:43 am, 8 hours ahead of east coast time in a deployed location, sleepless despite the need to be up at 5 and fly to my next location. Day 4 out of an 8 month deployment, and my mind wanders to my wife, her smile, as well as the lingering troubles in our marriage. And as I ponder both the pain and joy in our life, and say a prayer of forgiveness and strength for the both of us, this line keeps repeating in my head: "Where did I lose my passion? Where did I slip away? Without you my world is darkness. I WONT LET GO AGAIN!!"

Favorite song from Red. The medley of orchestra, electronic, and rock elements is fantastic, but the lyrics shine the most. Calling out to God from a dark place, but invoking a message of hope, that clinging to Him will bring you back from the dead, is a powerful message. Definitely something I relate to.

I have to say that I love Red,skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch. Kutless. My husband never liked hard rock until he heard me play Red, Thousand foot krutch. And know he won’t listen to anything else. Listening to christian music is my joy and I’m so glad that they started to come out with christian hard rock. But now all christian music is christian music. You have to let the Holy Spirit show you and guide you into what your listening too. The music might sound really good but if your not careful you can be listening to something that might hurt your spirit. Yes even the satan can add lyrics that is damaging to your soul. This song has always reminded me of a lost love. A person loses someone close to them, but won't let go of the love they felt for them. The person refuses with all of his/her heart to believe the worst, and searches relentlessly, adamant that one day, they will find the person they so loved, even if it takes them to the ends of the Earth. And I guess it could also apply to friendship as well. A truly moving song!

I’m not a religious person and I don’t think I will but the real reason why I love their music is because I love listen to their music. I know Reds songs are about God, Christianity and everything but I'm an atheist, yet I love all of his songs, can sing along word for word. The meaning of them to me (Most of them) mainly Hymn for the missing, or some lyrics from different songs are like my father who's passed away, and we're talking to eachother, or the lyrics are something i need him to tell me or something I want to tell him. That's my interpretation anyway.
I really don't get how RED aren't actually that well known... they're absolutely amazing. The lyrics are on point that they can relate to almost everybody in one way or another, the instrumental is outstanding and perfectly mixed and the vocals... they're perfect. Everything about this band speaks volumes on how much they deserve more appreciation and exposure
Its probably got to do with advertisement. They focus so much on the music but never on the advertisement or exposure. They were pretty famous though. They played on Conan, and a couple late night shows in 2011. But since then, they sort of faded but still got a strong fan base #RedForever
I hate that I'm gonna miss them February 2nd. One of the few bands I actually wanna see and I have to miss it. Red: the air you breathe will not be your only legacy when you're gone. If it takes you all being gone for people to hear this, let it be heard nevertheless. I've listened over a decade and I'm still here.

I have to say that I love Red,skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch. Kutless. My husband never liked hard rock until he heard me play Red, Thousand foot krutch. And know he won’t listen to anything else. Listening to christian music is my joy and I’m so glad that they started to come out with christian hard rock. But now all christian music is christian music. You have to let the Holy Spirit show you and guide you into what your listening too. The music might sound really good but if your not careful you can be listening to something that might hurt your spirit. Yes even the satan can add lyrics that is damaging to your soul. So please be careful with what your listening too. God bless you all.

This song has always reminded me of a lost love. A person loses someone close to them, but won't let go of the love they felt for them. The person refuses with all of his/her heart to believe the worst, and searches relentlessly, adamant that one day, they will find the person they so loved, even if it takes them to the ends of the Earth.
And I guess it could also apply to friendship as well. A truly moving song!

I’m not a religious person and I don’t think I will but the real reason why I love their music is because I love listen to their music. Sure it’s not a good reason but I listen to their music so much and I enjoy it so much. I also like to create a story through their songs, a story that I can relate to and enjoy, it’s probably stupid and I don’t think anybody will relate but I want to share such impactful stories that isn’t religious. I’m not Christian but I’m still going to love Red regardless

I know Reds songs are about God, Christianity and everything but I'm an atheist, yet I love all of his songs, can sing along word for word. The meaning of them to me (Most of them) mainly Hymn for the missing, or some lyrics from different songs are like my father who's passed away, and we're talking to eachother, or the lyrics are something i need him to tell me or something I want to tell him. That's my interpretation anyway.

I really don't get how RED aren't actually that well known... they're absolutely amazing. The lyrics are on point that they can relate to almost everybody in one way or another, the instrumental is outstanding and perfectly mixed and the vocals... they're perfect. Everything about this band speaks volumes on how much they deserve more appreciation and exposure
Its probably got to do with advertisement. They focus so much on the music but never on the advertisement or exposure. They were pretty famous though. They played on Conan, and a couple late night shows in 2011. But since then, they sort of faded but still got a strong fan base #RedForever
