Sir i have a doubt sir in first question friction is acting on the lower point so how it can be giving torque because angular momentum is changed bcoz finally particle has velocity in x directrion

Just after collision, ball immediately rises up and contact is lost. Does not get sufficient time to change horizontal velocity at contact. How conservation of angular momentum could be applied?
Till the time normal is acting , friction can be acting. Right?
If yes, then it has capability to change in momentum and angular momentum about centre of mass. Right?
If yes, then it may bring in pure rolling because required impulse may be less or more than impulse which friction can give. Right?
So pure rolling may or may not happen, we have to check.
As far as angular momentum conservation is concerned all three forces passes through the point of contact so we can very well apply it whether it rolls or not.

kinetic friction will only act until pure rolling not starts .so impulse by kinetic friction =m(vf-vi);where vf=velocity ( in x) when pure rolling starts and vi=0(in x) .is this wrong?plz tell
