Hi Dave. I found your video purely by chance and watched it all the way through. You see I live in Newcastle under Lyme now, but lived in Leiston for many Years. 1968 to 2017 actually. and you actually rode past two of the houses I used to live in! I also knew all the roads you were riding on of course and my favourite road to ride on my 850 Norton commando back then was the road from Leiston to Orford Via Snape. I have a picture of my commando parked on Orford quay on the side of my fridge at this very moment.
Morning Dave so yesterday was a big day for me I have a beautiful 2003 Bonnie I did a deal with another bike ....yes a 2005 Triumph Tiger 955i oh what a great bike smooth heaps of power and luggage to boot ...I was looking on TH-cam for the 955i Tiger and your channel came up awesome mate keep doing what your doing cheers Gary
Thanks Dave, really good museum! Honda 50's used to be as common as roller skates back in the day! I saw my old bike there, well, a similar one to what I had! 😆
Went to David silver few years ago. Then you got complementary coffee never forget put my mug under the machine selected my type of coffee thought it had finished dispensing my drink, took my mug away then the shot of coffee came out went into the drip tray, all I had was a mug of hot milk 😂😂😂, Friends I was with pissed their self's with laughter.
I.ve done Worst, I once parked at a council yard at gateshead in the morning made a flask of coffee then put some sugar in as I thought got down the road and poured a cup had a mouth full to realise I'd put salt in not suger 😅
Bought bits for my 750/4, Vfr400f and NC24 from there over the years. I remember phoning up Revetts asking how much a cam shaft was for a 750/4 F2 sohc and they quoted £350, got one from dave Silver for £85, he used to buy up bankrupt Honda stock. I believe he used to live in Wickham when he started.
@@tripledaveridesagain my best m8 has a Honda transalp 700 great bike and wherever we pull up there’s normally someone who wants to talk about the tiger but ignores the Honda
@@nigelbush7255they do hold a audience lol I.ve noticed when at bike meets ,the trouble with modern bikes looks the same and older tigers stick out .😊
