Young Bruce looking over Alfred in episode 3 I think or the scene where Batman and Gordon save the kids
Lois Lane and jimmy olsen
… Not one of Bruce’s best ideas. Poor Harvey…
This Bruce is callous. Look how he dealt with Alfred.
Don't blame bruce to this not even Harvey is trying to get better
If Bruce was a proper friend he would have gotten Harvey help instead of forcing him into a public place and making his paranoia worse
@@tayojones9460 well bruce wanted for Harvey to go somewhere healthy i mean not even Harvey wanted to go mental help
@@ntinosaggelopoulos6718he is to blame because an ulterior motive
Bruce is still not mature enough to handle a critical issue like this
@@harshckuk
Not yet, but he is getting there.
I love that one of the recurring issues that caused problem is Bruce's messiness and lack of proper empathy, it really feels like Batman needs help just like the villains
Yes. I am pretty sure this is a year one or two Batman. He's also on therapy, so this could mean that he has mental illness yet to handle
This Bruce is not emphatic nor compassionate enough to handle people, yet.
But he's getting there.
@@zacharyshannon9007
Hence, the word "yet"
He is kinda like a mix between the animated series version and Robert Battinson imo, it's not too bad
Not sure what this means. Batman only gets more bitter as time goes on, hence why everyone leaves him.
Bruce Wayne. Enough money to take his mate out on the town bit not to pay for a his friends therapy.
As messed up as it is Bruce did this on purpose as a method of squeezing info out of Harvey.
Therapy back then was a stiff drink and peer pressure. That's it.
Psychology in the 1930s (when this show takes place) had barely established as a science and mental health was not considered an issue. It's not that Bruce couldn't afford it, it's that the knowledge regarding these issues that we have now in the present day, simply didn't exist back then.
@@mikebirks2336
The only therapy they believed back there in the 30s was the hitting the bar.
It’s the 1920’s, the only therapist here are suffering shell shock from WWI
Given that his response to emotional trauma was becoming the Batman it does stand to reason that this idea checked out for Bruce.
3:13 The Dark Knight reference.
Actually it's not, by that regard The Dark Knight took it from The Batman Reference.
2:02 No.....That is NOT Harvey Dent.
The deformed part looks a little too similar to Clayface, they should have made it green, especially since Harvey got hit by acid this time.
Acid doesn't turn skin green.
I think his disfigured half is on the wrong side.
or at least make it a different texture
Its also supposed to be his left side, not his right
Harvey taking a page from the Invisible Man's book
A lot of some fo the problems stem from Bruce/Batman not considering how things can be affected in the long run….like how he doesn’t want to admit loosing his parents has.
THIS SCENE REMINDS ME OF BATMAN THE TELLTALE SERIES
Harvey: this was a mistake.
BRUCE: no, Harvey. That’s a stake
Harvey: …….
Wow, they couldn't even get Two Face's sides right.
That has been bothering me
That’s the point
That’s kinda the point of the show, obviously they are changing stuff around on purpose.
That's the whole point. They wanted to try something different
Not only does this look terrible, it's on the right instead of the left.
Honestly this series and Batman Audio Adventures showed versions of Bruce Wayne who made monumental mistakes. It’s one of the reasons why this series felt so off for me. I mean I’ve seen Batman lose before but this just makes him look insensitive and incompetent.
It’s literally first week batman in the 1920’s different interpretation. I do get where you’re coming from though.
Batman talking to Batman. And Harvey, calm down. I've seen what your other half could look like. This honestly looks pretty salvagable.
Why are you talking to a non existing person?
@@pengking9725 You pull that thread and the whole sweater falls apart, man.
That's how he became Two-Faced
Maybe my taste is forever tainted by Kevin Conroy's expressive perfirmance, but the voice acting for Bruce here sounds very stiff.
Funnily enough, it was reported that there were many who sounded fine as Batman but Hamish Linklater was chosen especially because of his Bruce Wayne.
I think he’ll get better with time. It’s his first time with this series. Maybe Bruce Timm saw potential, but it’s not there yet
Agreed. Bruce Greenwood or Jeremy Sisto's Batmen/ Bruce Wayne's would be preferable to this.
If it were Conroy's Batman/ Bruce Wayne, I don't think even he could save this show. Fot me, the whole thing feels the way you described this Bruce Wayne performance.
Give it time. Aint nobody can beat kevin conroy. But gotta give these voice actors a chance. Just like how different people love different actors playing batman. Theres always be a comparison.
Otherwise studios can always AI the voice acting to a Kevin Conroy soundalike.
@@MRF1983I hope Jeremy gets another chance to voice Batman. His voice is crisp and menacing.
@@lordofthesithvader9430 Agreed 👍
It looks like they tried to make frankistein but gave up halfway through
Frankistain is Solomon gruddy
😂 literally halfway!
I’ll show you who I am…and WHAT I am! -Dr. Griffin
2:40 is everything okay
They put the scar on the wrong side... the scar goes on his left side. He calls his clean side "the right side" because it's literally on his right.
Changes are not bad
Wow, decent 90s and 2000s style cartoon animation that is not anime influence or style
If Bruce's character develops and becomes more empathetic because of beating himself up over his previous incompetence, its gunna be an awesome thing.
O no he's.. he's.... He's still pretty hot. 😅
I've heard it all before
Brings out the split personalities in this Batman. Schizophrenia, aggression, the PTSD.
Wow he really does sound like Sterling Archer.
Who?
Harvey, said it… this was a mistake
Now I see why Arizona people like to be him.
Harvey Get Out! 3:23
Shouldn't he be bald on the messed-up side?
That’s the wrong side
Changes are not bad
I really enjoyed this scene but Two Face's design falls short, kinda disappointed ✌🏽
This scene felt forced. There are little to no scenes throughout the season of Bruce and Harvey being pals. Heck the show doesn’t even mention in any way that they are friends in this or that they even known each other. Hopefully season 2 is better and less woke. Especially considering this is a show that takes place in the 1940’s.
Ahh is the one brain rot slang I still don’t understand
Goofy ahh animation
So do better
Not really, plus it pays homage to Batman: The Animated Series.
@@CENTURAFILMZXV54
Tell that to Bruce Timm.
@@autumnberend828 But more woke.
Let's see you do better
