I never would of thought that this whole Pete thing would of happened. Seemed like he wanted to always be a met. Each day that passes I feel the Mets are more likely to move on. I hope we sign him, but if not Pete is the one who is gonna lose out not the Mets
Honest question: you think Alonso will have an .850 OPS next year? He might, but last year was .788. The benefit of these two is that they’re available for a one year deal (see vlad jr). Alonso is better than these two, but maybe taking a left handed hitter with a .380 OBP out of Oracle park in the hopes that his power might increase isn’t a bad idea, at least if they can’t agree with Alonso. Better than Arraez is all I’m saying.

I agree 💯 he's not getting 200mil to strike out at pitches throw at the dugout because you're not seeing the ball, guessing wrong. LGM ⚾
Yes I agree if he's not gonna sign with us. let's get another player to take his place before it's too late
My prediction is that Pete 'the procrastinator' goes on and takes Comforto Road. Next destination San Fransisco.
It looks like Pete is not going to sign with the Mets no matter what other offers are the table . Time to move on from him and get a big time hitter .
Perhaps a trade for Ryan O’Hearn or Lamonte Wade Jr would be smart!
@@chloebraddock887 have they hit 40 homeruns the last few years?
