Pete wants the most money, just as Soto wanted the most money. Soto would have stayed with the other team across town if they offered him the most. Unfortunately for him he passed on the best deal he'll get, so now he has to find the second best deal, wherever that is. He'll be somewhere making a ton of money. Not worried about him. Having a good farm system is the best way to build a team . You never know what players will put up big numbers , once they come up to the big leagues . So whom ever plays third base , just maybe that player can put up the same numbers as Venitos .
