Also funny you mentioned Strive’s character designs as overcrowded cause those are relatively RESTRAINED compared to other anime games. i saw on the spreadsheet that you said "if i get a kick out of parappa 1, maybe i'll stream the sequel" and my advice to you is: start with the sequel. it's so much better in every way, it has a decent battle mode unlike lammy (although it's lacking the co-op mode), the songs are super based (not that they aren't in parap 1, but yk), the input detection is a lot better (although i haven't played the ps4 remaster so i wouldn't know on that front) and overall it's such a good game compared to the first one

i saw on the spreadsheet that you said "if i get a kick out of parappa 1, maybe i'll stream the sequel" and my advice to you is: start with the sequel. it's so much better in every way, it has a decent battle mode unlike lammy (although it's lacking the co-op mode), the songs are super based (not that they aren't in parap 1, but yk), the input detection is a lot better (although i haven't played the ps4 remaster so i wouldn't know on that front) and overall it's such a good game compared to the first one
