It will never cease to amaze me how the one franchise that's supposed to be about a character that's "gotta go fast" can't even hold a candle to a game like this. If Sonic games played like this I'd still be playing them
Funny thing, this was once a game made and featured in the Sonic Games Expo, or SAGE if I'm not wrong... Just look at how far this game has come. from a silly little man pizza man running around in a castle, to a full fledged game with a bunch of levels and unique gimmicks for each of them!
On the Naganuma comment: Pretty sure a majority of those voices are sampled (many from 20s-50s American dramas/film), and even he wasn't the first to use a majority of them. There's a good listing of which ones were used in other artists' works that came out prior such as the "That's very nice, THANK YOU," and the "I'm trying to get some sleep!"
