    That was great.Some of these repair videos are terrible but you really know what your doing.
    I was totally impressed with what you did. Some of the crack repairs in the bad videos you can still see the entire crack when they are done.
    You are excellent at what you do.
    Thank you I learned a lot from you.

    You smacked that seam with the hammer and completely uncontrollably "NO SHIT!" slipped out of my mouth. Thank you for the great tip. That will definitely come in handle for a project I'm doing with some marble scraps coming up. Appreciate it!

    Thanks so much for doing this demonstration video. I'm installing a marble vanity counter top that has a few small chips and scratches. Went down to the stone supply store and the salesman sold me the Hot Stuff glue and ncf stone accelerator. I can see from your video that I don't need the accelerator to fix small chips as the Hot Glue will harden on it's own. Never worked with stone before but thanks to your demo I've learned how to use this product.

    You can try doing that again on any actually kitchen yeah i can do the same thing on to 4 inch piece and they'll be perfectly flush but go ahead and do it on a kitchen you no longer have just 4 inches to work with

      This man has 25yrs of granite experience. He knows how to set a seam. Satellite City asked him to demonstrate how he uses their product. They didn't ask him to go on an install.

    OOOOOH! I see cambria samples in the background now this video makes sense as you why you don't know how to set a seam!

      Cambria has nothing to do with the HOT STUFF. This gentleman was asked by Satellite City to demonstrate how he uses their product. This man has 25yrs of experience! Trust me, he knows how to set a seam.

      @@jimjepsen6225 I have 12 years experience, and with me experience when you use this type of super glue you experience what is called green bloom. It's not a stong adhesive and should never be used to set a seam as it is very brittle and will last upwards of maybe a month before a service call is required.

    • @jimjepsen6225
      @jimjepsen6225 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stephen Bellaire, the green bloom as you call it, is from using the wrong accelerator. I have 20yrs of experience, and have been using this product since 2004. I have not had any problems with this product.

    • @linkintalent
      @linkintalent 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jimjepsen6225 you get green bloom from the supplied accelerator. The better alternative is bonstone CA no green bloom or discolouration if over sprayed like a lot of people do with this glue.

    • @jimjepsen6225
      @jimjepsen6225 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@linkintalent you can get the can of accelerator with the green label, or the can with the black label. Both are supplied by the supplier. Black label does not cause the green bloom. If using the can with the green label and it causes the bloom, the cheapest can of oven cleaner from Dollar General will remove the bloom. In all actuality, if you spray 10 to 12 inches away from the granite, and spray lightly, it won't bloom.

    This is not how you set a seam..

    • @IamTheJesus69
      @IamTheJesus69 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea lol. First of all it would be very difficult to even get it flat with how quick this stuff cures, the bond isn’t nearly as strong as epoxy and probably not very stable long term.

      This is a demonstration install helper. This man has 25yrs of granite experience, and knows how to set a seam. So go back downstairs in your mommy and daddy's basement and go back to playing Fortnite.

    Takeaway from this video is DON'T PUT GRANITE ON KITCHEN COUNTERS.

      Takeaway from this comment you don't know anything about stone. Granite is much easier to repair than quartz. You don't seam a countertop with superglue let alone repair with it.

      You are the reason people should pay more attention in English class, so they can use proper English while trying to bash people.
