It's so wholesome and fun whenever you can just hear James Gunn behind the camera suggesting an idea he just got for a funny line, but he's laughing too much to finish it
i am pretty sure its awesome to work with James, all i heard from actors worked with him, that he is a funny cool guy. Obliviously you can also see how great a director he is.
John Cena loves his character so much that he wears the suit in several of his previous interviews. I like to see that kind of actor involved in their roles.
The great thing about this is Cena is carrying on a great Wrestling tradition, wrestlers are always trying to get each other to break character in the ring, especially in house shows. It is how the Peoples elbow was created, Rock was trying to get Undertaker to laugh in the ring.
You can really tell because when he gets chukwudi to laugh he even says "operation get chuk is a success." It's like he was trying to get every actor to break at least once.
Oh come on they gave us Suicide Squad... Ok ok ok... But they gave us Birds of Prey... Ok ok ok but come onnmn, they gave us ginger emo Batman... Ok ok, I see your point.

Christopher Heyerdahl, he's a great actor, capable of being both sincere and soulful or extremely creepy. He played one of the best TV villains you'll ever see in Hell on Wheels, not to mention his many memorable roles in sci-fi
Actors with a background in live performance tend to be pretty good, and professional wrestling is absolutely live performance. Way more physical than most theater, but still live performance where you don't get second takes.
This show means so much to me. The way they shot it, the fun they obviously had with it, the perfect mix of phenomenal writing and great improv…there are a few things from this year that have pushed me over the edge as far as my desire to be in this industry and hopefully I can man up and go chase that dream soon. I’ve seen the entire first season 4 times, and once I catch up with a few of the things I’m watching now, I’ll probably watch it again. In one year of the shows release I will have watched this 5 times…and I can honestly say at this point that it is the only show in my top 10 with only one season. So needless to say I’m beyond excited for season two and as much as they’ll give us on top of that. Thank you to everyone involved with this show and thank you so much to James Gunn. Also, with the Gunn/Safran hiring, and as a lifelong film fan and DC fan, I feel more excited for the future of my entertainment than ever.

I don't think it's a role of him... it's just him, wearing another wrestling outfit than usual ^^ but really a great series 🤣👍 I loved eagly 😆
Many actors do this. For the fans. Not because they love their character.
