Lately I’ve been experimenting with Binding Mochi in Ancient Box, since you’re running Pech anyways. It really helps secure big early game ko’s against the likes of raging bolt (which you typically requires 17 ancient cards in the discard pile to ko) and allows to ko some big ex and vstar pokemon in the late game like regidrago, pidgeot, and even charizard ex.
I've tried a similar list. I use it with Arven to get the Mochi or the Ancient Capsule when needed. When it works, it's great! But, I've seen a lot of people target down the Pecharunt with gust cards to shut off the mochi and take two prize cards which just puts me so far behind.
@@MATTierialI’ve had that happen to me as well. Best answer is to only bench Pech when you have the opportunity for a big ko, or if you really need to switch a moon into the active. Also running 2 copies of Pech can help with the consistency, but I kind of like the idea of arven but it might be hard to slide it in without sacrificing other good cards. Maybe a town store would help

I've been trying by using brute bonnet instead of walking wakes to keep the deck 1 prize and still capable of poisoning. Plus throw in a single perilous jungle to boost 20 more damage on checkup. I'm new to deck building but seems to work well for big early damage.
Yes, the reason walking wake is played over other ancient pokemon is because if you start with it, it only has 1 retreat. Things like brute bonnet would provide a way to poison and add an extra 10 damage to hit magic numbers with roaring moon, however, its a heavy retreater
@@flowbie-1336 noticed during playtesting! Thanks for the info! It’s a great deck but I really struggled with anything over 280-300 hp… like charizard for example, was a difficult match… added 1x kieran to try nuking 330 in an ideal scenario. Also added 1x fighting energy and 2x slither wing for the Iron thorns match… it’s still a toolbox deck so you need answers.. maybe I’m wrong.. I’ll test
@@kaitoshiki7782you already win the thorns matchup, it’s whole gimmick is turning off rule box abilities, and i think take the L to zard or try and be clever with your counter catchers and gusting options and accept you beat almost everything else
I took Walking Wake out my deck and added the new Slither Wing from Shrouded Fable and added just one fighting energy. It can one shot Iron Hands Ex, Ursaluna Ex, Lugia Vstar, Fezandipity Ex, Iron Thorns Ex, Miraidon Ex, Pechaurant Ex, Raikou V, Rotom V and Terapagos Ex.

Mochi is cool for sure, just teching a second 2-prizer is weird.
Excellent video Bro! Thanks so much
big appreciate
I hate this deck sm but I keep coming back to it😭
it's a sickness....and I don't wanna get better
Would there be any changes to the list in a post stellar crown meta?
probably not tbh. no new cards effect this deck.
Do you think that running prime catcher is worth it I saw that Alex shimanski was running it at a cup I was at I just wanted your opinion on it
where was alex using it?

I think prime is cool, but box is so much more value.
in his meme deck probably
the Handy state
So it’s all about boosting that roaring moon? The other Pokémon that require “water energy” is only there as discard?

correct

Why not scream tail instead of walking wake? The heal might be a little more helpful than nothing, with the same retreat?

Is this deck still viable?
it's tier 2 at best at the moment.

the retreat cost is tough, but might be good
