ignoring time investment and fees when selling, not to mention the fluctuations in price whenselling these as the values are probably averages on the higher end.
I have some old cards all first edition I have a complete binder including the charzard Holo found moving my parents out of there house every holo from ist edition and u think every like regular card of the Pokemon. How much would that cost?
I know grading is an art and not a science, but I really think they purposefully give certain numbers to control the overall card population at a specific grade.
Graders make barely above minimum wage. Tommy at psa is 100% thinking more about lunch than he is about PoPuLaTiOn CoNtRol. Pop control is only spouted by people who don’t know how to effectively pregrade cards themselves.
I appreciate you grading cards for people to see, especially from different sets/generations. I myself haven’t graded my collection but makes me want to!
I use to want to grade all my rare cards. But for some reason, I prefer them raw now. I enjoy opening my binder and seeing all my rares being buddies rather than single slabs.
@raduck5240 so this was first time. I went with a local person who has PSA account that was sending a bunch in. I sent the rayquaza along with the 151 and obsidian flames charizard. 151 got 9. Obsidian got 8. The 151 surprised me cause it looked flawless to me. And there was one tiny white spec on obsidian from the cut and I thought would be atleast 9
I think your reactions are priceless 🤣 🤣 i definitely get notifications for my psa shipments.. i wanna know the grades before i get them... your guesses are too on point.. im pretty sure you knew all greades before you shown the ppl... i usuallly LOVE your videos, but, the mysterious aspect of the video is gone
The Lillie's border centering has a slight twist shift to it on the front and back. Couldn't see anything on the Snorlax but it could of had a micro indentation/s on the textured holo that is usually an auto 6. Pulling some modern gold cards out of Ancient Origins packs in the past and I have seen them so it could be a possibility in other S&S sets. I noticed a few small little dots also on the Latias & Latios GX along with the indentation on the side of it that you saw. The micro indentations are the size of pin pricks or a fine ballpoint pen so they can be difficult to see on these highly textured shiny cards.
Bruh, I hear you there 💯. Click bate comments for likes is just pathetic!.!........ If you agree With us then do me a huge fav & smash that thumbs up!!!
What are the chances that ppl at PSA could accidentally drop or damage cards ? I’m sure it’s happened… some 10’s become 9’s, 9’s become 8’d and so on.., I’m sure it’s happened often
These grading service providers are the biggest scammers. The higher price you pay, the more likely they are to give you a higher grade and ignore some defects
It wasn't too bad overall, the 10s you got did a lot of heavy lifting though! I agree that some of those cards were never actually "near mint" to begin with. Cool video as always!
Haters, no haters… trolls and non-trolls.. this guy is def a beast in this genre. Great content, great host, pulls fire and has some well-deserved luck on some of these boxes. Dude throws down some mega greenbacks to make these videos. Thanks for it all, PokeRev.
I’m always reluctant to send any cards to grade, I’ve had off results very frequently. Would you ever consider a review on A.I. based grading for a video?
Very interesting vid. Shout out to your creative team, editors and you for always coming up with cool ideas for vids. The entertainment is greatly appreciated!
You can’t just go by Edgeware. You have to look at the card in natural light. At different angles. That will bring out all these micro scratches that are on the back of the card that you can’t see under a lamp. I thought I had a near mint nine. it came back a 5. I looked at it in natural light, and saw all the scratches all over it.
Hi, I'm newer to the channel. I've been on major pokemon kick lately, with both gaming and card collecting. I bought some card boxes today and was binging your videos while opening my own card packs. Thank you for the great content and I look forward to future uploads.😊
I've never understood why grading cards is so expensive. You got some really nice cards back tho, it definitely adds something to a card when it is graded!
If you haven't already. Could u Do a video where u bust open some slabs and have them regraded to see if psa is consistent? That snorlax looks fine so it makes me wonder
The Snorlax had a small indent on the back bottom that you found and hoped PSA wouldnt catch in the original video of you receiving the card. Guess they caught it lol. 😕
Yoo pokerev, i just started my first card collection ever since i was a kid i started with pokemon 151, its pretty fun thanks for inspiring my collection!
For those who find it interesting:
He Paid: $1086
Graded Value: $1360
(Price To Grade: $240)
Total Profit:$34

How do you determine the grading price been wanting to grade some cards
I have some old cards all first edition I have a complete binder including the charzard Holo found moving my parents out of there house every holo from ist edition and u think every like regular card of the Pokemon. How much would that cost?
Profit wasn't worth the trouble in this case
@@HUNTER-turbo5.0hh Grading costs a set amount. There is an upcharge if you have a very valuable card.
I believe the snorlax had a crease/dent on it towards the bottom of the card
However many likes this comment gets I’ll spend that much money on Pokémon cards
I liked can you send me one pack?
Can you send me one too
Me pls I need it my dad lost his job and I’m like poor
Unoriginal comment to farm likes
Pipsqueak pipe down you ain’t gonna stop begging until somone calls da 👮♀️ so yeah I’m dialing somone but
I love this kind of videos. Would be interested in a "Worst Condition PSA Grading" video or a second part of this series😊
He’s done that already
I know grading is an art and not a science, but I really think they purposefully give certain numbers to control the overall card population at a specific grade.
Check the population of more recent sets and their chase cards and youd find that false. Older cards are harder to get graded in a 10
that rainbow blastoise was SO off center, I think you're right. that did not deserve a 10.
@@BStrachare you saying that like there are a lot of 10s in the recent releases? Just trying to understand
Graders make barely above minimum wage. Tommy at psa is 100% thinking more about lunch than he is about PoPuLaTiOn CoNtRol. Pop control is only spouted by people who don’t know how to effectively pregrade cards themselves.
Stop screaming into the mic we can hear you fine

I am in the same boat, went from being a slab fanatic to wanting a binder full of expensive cards
@@ChilleBruh thats funny, i did the same thing. gotta have all those eeveelution alt arts next to each other on the same page lol
I get what your saying, but preserving your favorite rare cards is just one of the best things in tcg
@@HgitrXX do you work for PSA? 😆
@@shelbycornell9482 I wouldn’t mind working for them
loved the video! i enjoy seeing this kind of thing so i can try to fgure out what grade my cards are.
We just got our first PSA submission back. Our Rayquaza V Alt Art scored a 10!
For every undeserving ten you get someone else’s ten gets a 7
WHAT!!!!!
I'm hoping to send my Gengar alt art (fusion strike) to them soon. Have you got any advice for someone who hasn't graded cards before?

love hearing the thought process of each card, really help guessing some of my own card grades xD
I’m liking this genre you’ve been doing buying cards blindly and just grading all of them
Pokerev should do a vlog of him showing off his whole Pokémon collection
Fr
True
He has tons of videos showing his collection.
I think about this all the time, esp binder and graded / top loaded cards
More people like this!!!!!
I love this! Gives us some insight on what to expect from near mint cards from tcg player and how psa grades. Thank you!
That Blastoise rainbow GX is sick
“That’s a 10 back, let’s see what the front looks like” …. Sounds like something I use to say years ago 😂
Gotta love the psa submissions content

Grading is so fun to guess
I genuinely enjoy these grading videos. I’m always hoping for those 9s and 10s

I'm not gonna lie. You got some of the best videos on Pokémon TCG on the internet. Keep it up.
Bottom right on the back of the snorlax is got a uneven spot, almost like a bend. At 24:03
PokeRev going back with the OG Clothes of 2020
Lesson from this video: only grade cards if they have a 90% chance at a perfect score!
Love the card selections! Think you did pretty good on the grades personally :D
These grading service providers are the biggest scammers. The higher price you pay, the more likely they are to give you a higher grade and ignore some defects
I like how most of these are more recent to see the epic arts of the newer generations.
Another banger as usual

It's not great content... it's card grade content and not even 4k. We can't see details on the card.
My son loved the first PokeRev Pack we got, as we pulled our first ever Charizard! We love watching your videos together

Awesome video! Love to see the value of those graded cards.
Loved seeing how clean these were when you first got them!
That gold zekrom being a 6 was painful
Very interesting vid. Shout out to your creative team, editors and you for always coming up with cool ideas for vids. The entertainment is greatly appreciated!
Honestly these came back way better than expected
Fun video, breaking little over even is better than nothing. Lots of neat cards selected
I watched the part 1 right before this. You said there was a slight indent on the Snorlax, so that's what brought it to a 6
I love your vids! Congrats on the good grades
I've only ever bought a few graded cards, and its because they were at a similar price to raw and the slab makes them easier to display.
I know almost nothing about card grading, but I always find these videos interesting!

Super fun vid. Always appreciate videos that relate to us small collectors.
It would be cool if PSA added a thing where when you scan the QR code, they added photos or a description of any flaws they found on your card
I love the xy fullarts with the black borders ! Sick video rev !
I have been looking forward to this video, hope you get good grades. There are some banger cards there 😍
where do you announce your giveaway winners? I have never seen them posted or in a video

Still enjoying these grading vids!
Always nice to see a bunch of good cards one after another
Just got my first ever psa graded cards back today. Pretty rad
They need a return card sheet on why they have done those grades eg. Centering on back 7/10
Or whitening bottom corner left side.
I think the average overall is moving to a good area but a little more improvement would give it some shine
I wish I knew how to grade a card as good as you! Great content!

You know you’re a good TH-camr when YOURE the reason I like Pokemon!
How do you prep your cards for grading?
Ive gotten back into collecting because of you! love the channel!
I have several great cards I want to get graded but not sure what company to go with. PSA, Beckett, or TAG
You are one of if not my favorite TH-camr. Keep up the good work
Thanks for giving to the community Rev! Those be some crazy cards btw. Psa is nice
Love these types of videos ! Very cool to see how everything turns out ! Keep up the awesome content !
Hey pokeRev I was just wondering how do you know the prices of your cards?
have you ever thought of grading with AGS? I am new and I am thinking of going to AGS, your thoughts would be helpful!
If I remember that gold Snorlax had a dent in the bottom right on the back, which would explain why it got an 8 for an otherwise perfect card
Always great content! I want to throw more PSA submissions in after watching your videos!
New to more serious collecting so I haven’t seen that Gengar & Mimikyu team up card and now I’ll be on a mission to find one. I love that card.
Yoo pokerev, i just started my first card collection ever since i was a kid i started with pokemon 151, its pretty fun thanks for inspiring my collection!

do you get a synopsis of the reasons for the grade?
I remember these purchases, hopefully you get good grades on them
That was interesting on the grades of those cards.
”Spend some to get some.” Nope. Not this time. 😂
