1; We must remember that COPE was asked to / for recommendations,investigations and actions for the whole scam. 2; they do not have the authority to convict any person or company / organization. 3; they come to a collective ,signed agreement to all of the above (full stop ). ..but not to take any action regarding this! (which they have no authority !! ) now.. the relevant Persons should step down and the relevant Company's Assets Should be Frozen until till or not found guilty by the Courts, and only by the Courts
Well, when it comes to JVP always maintain; Holier than thou attitude. In regard to the Bond issue all these bankrupt opposition parties have found the former Central Bank Governor guilty without any hard evidence or trial. They have been slinging mud at him as soon as he became the CB governor. Now they want him arrested, investigated and so on and so forth but they have been discussing this issue long before the COPE report. They talk about his son in law, he is a successful trader, he is in bond and treasury business and these traders are customers of banks and dealers. In fact when they buy the bond, they are throwing their money on the line where they can hold it or dispose it of or even they could lose and they take the risk and it is their money which meas the people who are in the bond trade or commodity trade. It is wrong to say that this money belongs to the country, the money belong to the traders and it is a kind of gambling, a very big risk. The bond is sold by the bank and they bought it, they have the right to hold it or sell it, if they make 100& profit which I doubt still it is their business ability. I think that this issue will not bring any good to the government or the country. BTW what if he loses? Government sold the bond he bought it and he made money and it is his money and if he loses then it is his problem.JVP and the opposition and even some of the government members do not know about this business because this is a completely a different ball game unlike other businesses, one can become rich or pauper, it depends of his ability act on time.
