Thank you for doing a tutorial on this. The use of the triangle was a good tip , as I know how easy it is to overstretch the material. PS, the blanket is lovely!
I love your channel. I have crocheted Sophie and mandala with your video. I am very interested in scheepjes-cal-2020-dhistoire-naturelle. Could you please please make videos for us? I would be over the top if you could.xxx
Is it possible to just run it in the delicate cycle of a washing machine instead of soaking it? Also, can I just block it on a carpet? Would that work?
on a carpet would work, yes. if you put it in a washing bag, and then the wool cycle with minimal spin it should be ok in the washing machine. some washing machines als have a hand-wash cycle.
yes, because when you wash it, it looses the shape to a certain degree. The fibers do have some memory, but not completely. So after every wash, lay it outside in the shape it should be and let it dry. Personally I only wash a crochet blanket when it is stained, otherwise I just hand it outside to freshen up.

Question...do I need to block my blanket every time I wash it?

@@Itsallinanutshell Ok, thank you.
What can I use in the US that is equal to Eucalan?
I found it on amazon
Any wool detergent that you don't have to rinse is equivalent to eucalan
