To be honest; Spacegodzilla is the best godzilla villain that was made for the heisei films. Sure, Ghidorah was the OG and was made to be godzilla's green goblin, But something about space-goji just feels right to me.

Spacegodzilla does look and feel more like arch rival material than Ghidorah does. Got kind of a Venom/Darkseid to Godzilla's Spider-Man/Superman kinda thing going on. Destoroyah has this "the past come back to haunt you" kind of vibe, like a Doomsday/Enishi vs. Superman/Kenshin dynamic with Godzilla. Personally Spacegodzilla is tied at #1 with Godzilla for me. And it's more that you'd wanna save Destoroyah for special occasions than the fact that Spacegodzilla would slap the crap out of him if they met. (No really. I know in terms of stats they're pretty even [Destoroyah's durability aside], but Spacegodzilla counters every single move Destoroyah has. On top of being both faster and smarter.)
I will like to see SpaceGodzilla gets his own movie one day Toho has made so many Godzilla movies so why not give SpaceGodzilla his own movie like Godzilla
On paper Space Godzilla is a league above every other kaiju, mainly because he has so many abilities. But Destroyah is probably intended to be stronger, on the basis that he fought the canonically stronger version of Godzilla (Burning Godzilla). If you plucked Burning Godzilla from that film and put him in the Space Godzilla film, Space Godzilla would never have escaped that initial fight on the island.
Destroyah fought a more powerful version of godzilla while godzilla was also on a weakened state. Destroyah couldn’t do much but make him angry and Even tried to run away. Space godzilla beat godzilla and would have won again had moguera not intervened.

Tbh people glizzy glaze the hell out of destroyah, I think destroyah and space Godzilla would function on equal terms but if you take destroyah and put it up against Kaiser ghidorah its game over for destroyah since its big thing is the oxygen destroyer based attacks that can hurt Godzilla and Kaiser isn’t from earth and doesn’t require oxygen to function

I haven't watched it... but I was told that he was only driven off by wounding the heads and we have no idea where the body of void Ghidorah is. So, wounding a couple heads doesn't seem like killing him, but hey I is only a space Godzilla boii so Ghidora is still a lame three-headed noodle dragon... well multiple-headed noodle dragon for void Ghidora that is.

You forgot super regeneration. It’s officially listed as his ability due to having Godzilla’s DNA AND the official guide books from Toho confirm this.
