@Anon Anon The point was pretty obvious that if your parents served you something outside of the animals you typically consume, that you did have an ethical problem with, you likely wouldn't eat it even though it was your parents putting the dinner plate in front of you.
@Anon Anon eating dogs is Haram , and they've identified as being muslim. So my point remains, swap dog with whatever animal that you have an ethical problem eating and let me know if you would eat it simply because someone put it down on a plate in front of you. It doesn't matter about what happened to other places of the world.

I think I've seen your profile picture before--I think I've seen you during his livestreams?
@@SilverScorpio17 Yes that was me. I vividly remember chatting with someone by the name of SilverScorpio on his livestreams. It feels really nice to confirm that it was you lol. I became vegan from one of Mufti's video, of all the vegan videos I could've watched and I'm not even kidding. From there I progressed to watching Earthling Ed, Dominion, Joey Carbstrong ect. This was the video from Mufti's channel that made me Vegan for life: *Is Industrial Meat (Or Factory Meat) Halal? Halal Vs Tayyib | Mufti Abu Layth* th-cam.com/video/0UY94Zl4yR0/w-d-xo.html I asked him in the chat: @RevanTheProdigalKnight "Will you ever be vegan mufti?" and he jokingly said @MuftiAbuLayth "why not, as i read somewhere: Im Vegan, I eat meat, yes we exist! but everything is possible, much love" I was heavily considering Veganism at that point and when I finally become one, I went back to that chat and said: @RevanTheProdigalKnight "I ain't gonna lie. This video made me vegan lol..."
@@SilverScorpio17 "Personally, being vegan feels oddly spiritual to me for some reason." I agree 100%. I've already adopted spiritual Islam in the form of Tasawwuf. Being vegan is a step in the right direction because I can't help but feeling a deep sense of guilt/wrongness to kill or eat something that doesn't want to die. Spirituality teaches a great deal to develop and feel a deep sense of Empathy towards others, through Oneness. All beings tremble before violence. All fear death. All love life. See yourself in others, Then whom can you hurt? What harm can you do? Animals are just as conscious as we are... *"A man said: "O messenger of Allah, I was going to slaughter a sheep but I had mercy on it. The Prophet said: If you had mercy on the sheep then Allah will have mercy on you twice"* *"God will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves" -**13:11* It has always been within our discretion and responsibility to use our God-given Fitra to think and make the best possible outcome for a better world. A world that resonates and coherent to the pursuit of Peace(Islam). Peace not only for humans but other sentient animals as well. The act of sparring animals shouldn't be something to be frowned upon but rather celebrated because of the greater triumph it has brought when it comes to upholding Peace in this world.
@@VerdantJedi It feels like such a small world haha. I think we talked about Meditations and simulation theory once too lol. But that's amazing, I'm honestly surprised that it was Mufti's video that actually brought you to veganism! But yeah, I think I watched a lot of Earthling Ed and Cosmicskeptic (of all people lol) before I finally made the decision to go vegan. I finally felt good enough health-wise to go vegetarian back in July and then went vegan like 2 months later lol. Individual action goes a long way for those in our circles. If anyone of us could stop war, end poverty etc.. most of us would but that’s outside of what we can do individually. But what we can do is buy this instead of or vrs that. Its easy, simply do some research all the resources are there.
Need to also include it's racist to not be vegan in any area you can be, if you want to help kids/people in Africa, go vegan because of the deforestation, the African indigenous land (& ALL indigenous land) is being taken away from indigenous peoples for animal ag at an alarming rate. The ice is melting in the north, Canadian/Turtle Island/etc Indigenous peoples livelihoods are at stake because of climate change, methane from cattle, deforestation, etc etc etc the list is never ending. Going vegan is the single biggest impact an individual can make on the entire world & animal's lives. Next to that is boycotting major companies, like Coca-Cola (biggest plastic polluter yet are never held accountable), Nestle (stealing water "legally"/causing droughts/draining whole lakes/etc), GAP/GAP Kids (My motto for GAP: GAP Kids! Made *BY* Kids, For Kids! - which we have enough food to feed yet they are starving & in sweat shops!) etc but even fewer people are doing it than going vegan. Indigenous Hawaiian's are BEGGING people to STOP coming/touring/moving there, but no one is listening, more planes, more people, more hotels, more tourism, less indigenous life, less environment, less life altogether. So going by vegan at the very least you can save/spare someone's life & many someones with your plate/clothing/etc choices over the years!
Whenever someone tells you there´s no protein in non-meat sources tell them this: "Texturized soja has 50gr of protein per 100g of product. And after add it to your diet. Your welcome.
They agree no animal wants to die, they agree it’s animal cruelty, they even will claim to love animals but yet meat eaters are the ones paying for it to keep happening! Connect the dots!
That is true Joey you can't tell a jackal what to do. This is great conversation you had with these young kids joey. They were really paying attention to what you were saying joey which is good. I hope that these young kids go vegan one day. Exactly joey there are so many other forms of protein and you can get it all from plants. Protein, iron, calcium, and fiber all comes from plants. You did great with them when they were asking you questions joey. And ya your body needs nutrients, not animal flesh. Animal flesh and all animal products are not good for us at all. All animal products contain saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium which is not good for you. Animals are friends not food. Great video as always joey. Keep up the great work man. They need to teach in schools about the abuse and torture that happens to animals on factory farms. Thank you Joey for speaking up for the animals.
Ive been to Turkey. I was made fun of for being Vegan. ZERO vegan options on the menu. I ended up eating bread, peanut butter, fruit, and snack bars the whole time. Turkey is very slow when it comes to veganism.
You greatly reduce your impact on the suffering of animals. There are also health and environmental improvements but the number one reason is younwilll reduce suffering.
@@Uniko24-y9s That's quite a bit, wouldn't you say? Being as we slaughter 80 billion animals per year? All that need to be fed and watered while 800 million starve?
@@Uniko24-y9s there's too much benefits to list. But here's a few health benefits. Reduce chance of heart attack, cancer, diabetes, covid etc. And you live on average 15 years longer on a vegan diet. And dont worry you wont become a minecraft skeleton on a vegan diet just eat the right foods. But make sure to eat the right foods. Here's a list of what is good to eat on a vegan diet Whole foods, fruit, veg, seeds and nuts. Unless you're allergic ofc. And some vegan junk food as long as you're mostly eating healthy. Here's some stuff about how you will help animals! First thing I wanna do is debunk the crop death myth. Now sure crop deaths do exist, but. Most crops are made for farm animal consumption. So it's completely irrelevant! And not to mention 3 trillion animals are killed a year for our taste buds! I could add way more but that would take too long. Environmental benefits Well to start. One hamburger is as bad for the environment as taking a shower for a month straight! Also the amount of crops to feed to farm animals is crazy!!! 80% of crops are grown for farm animals. And 20% for humans. Again I could add tons more but it would take forever to read. Hope you go vegan
Dedicated Joey Carbstrong speaker and Tarion Partridge and camera crew team debunk the natural equals ethical lies. Redirecting the focus to the innocent sentient beings that no justification for murder of innocent sentient beings is ever ok fish will fight to survive their lives matter to them just because they communicate differently does not take anything away for their deserving of protection from abuse and murder
We need vegan athlete cards, like baseball cards, showcasing top tier athletes that are vegan to hand out to kids when they start asking about vegan nutrition :)
Good idea, lots of vegan athletes quit or cheat or eventually fail their careers, like Mike Tyson, Tim Sheiff, Jon Venus, Serena Williams and many others. Good lesson for the kids :)
Next time someone brings up "animals in nature" I swear I'm going to ask them to remove their clothes and pee and poop in public, then run behind an animal, catch and eat it with their bare hands. Last I heard, civilized humans are expected to behave better than what their animal nature predicates.
@@VeganCorie Thank you! Erase ''food-chain'' and all the problems solved. You know, every 25.000 years or so, our planet cleanced by ''cataclysms''. We have already enter the Last Days of our curent civilization - the End of the Kali Yuga. The New World will be money-free, and... Vegan.
Just had some scrambled eggs watching this video, put some butter garlic and tomato sauce with it. Some would say the combination is the travesty, I’m saying it was the lack of bacon.
Then God gave the wonderful manna from Heaven, and gave it to the people. However... "And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust. Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people
In the very beginning, God instated vegetarianism for humans: "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat." (Genesis 1:29 KJV). And to the animals: "And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so." (Genesis 1:30 KJV). Then God gave the wonderful manna from Heaven, and gave it to the people. However... "And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust. Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?" (Psalm 78:18-20 KJV)
Even if they are more liberal than most muslims around the world, they still do have a meat-centric culture. If you've traveled there before, almost all the cuisine includes meat. But what surprises me are those kids. It seems like that boy was willing to concede and even brought along all his friends to listen to Joey.

@Anon Anon he's from Turkey, they're Muslim, and it's Haram to eat dogs in that religion. It's forbidden.

I follow other vegan activist and Joey is one of the best when engaging with people. Love this 💕
Muslim vegan here, we definitely exist! Gotta love how he ends it with "This is haraam, causing animal suffering."
Alhamdulillah, I'm Vegan myself as well. Muhammad was NOT AGAINST the idea of not killing animals. Nor does God forbid the SPARING of Animals.
Your name seems familiar. Are you a frequenter at Mufti Abu Layth's channel?
@@VerdantJedi That's awesome, it's kinda hard to find other Muslim vegans! That's the conclusion I've come to--God would want us to stop the mass suffering of animals. Personally, being vegan feels oddly spiritual to me for some reason.
I was about to ask you the same thing lol.
This was the video from Mufti's channel that made me Vegan for life:
*Is Industrial Meat (Or Factory Meat) Halal? Halal Vs Tayyib | Mufti Abu Layth*
th-cam.com/video/0UY94Zl4yR0/w-d-xo.html
I asked him in the chat:
@RevanTheProdigalKnight
"Will you ever be vegan mufti?"
and he jokingly said
@MuftiAbuLayth
"why not, as i read somewhere: Im Vegan, I eat meat, yes we exist!
but everything is possible, much love"
I was heavily considering Veganism at that point and when I finally become one,
I went back to that chat and said:
@RevanTheProdigalKnight
"I ain't gonna lie. This video made me vegan lol..."
@@SilverScorpio17 "Personally, being vegan feels oddly spiritual to me for some reason."
I agree 100%.
The Prophet said: If you had mercy on the sheep then Allah will have mercy on you twice"*
*"God will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves" -**13:11*
It has always been within our discretion and responsibility to use our God-given Fitra to think and make the best possible outcome for a better world.
I asked Mufti about ethical veganism from my other account like right after I went vegan: th-cam.com/video/avhoMQ-PxPM/w-d-xo.html
Nice that they returned 😀🌱🖖🏼
Vegans are pretty creative when coming up with reasons to be vegan. Never heard one as creative as yours though.

Can I ask, what's the benefits of going vegan?
You greatly reduce your impact on the suffering of animals. There are also health and environmental improvements but the number one reason is younwilll reduce suffering.
@@annoyingbutmorallyconsistent is that it?
@@Uniko24-y9s That's quite a bit, wouldn't you say? Being as we slaughter 80 billion animals per year? All that need to be fed and watered while 800 million starve?
@@Uniko24-y9s Name something with a greater impact.
Here's a list of what is good to eat on a vegan diet
Whole foods, fruit, veg, seeds and nuts.
Environmental benefits
Well to start.

Next time someone brings up "animals in nature" I swear I'm going to ask them to remove their clothes and pee and poop in public, then run behind an animal, catch and eat it with their bare hands. Last I heard, civilized humans are expected to behave better than what their animal nature predicates.
