As a new pipe smoker I’ve found your videos to be much more inspiring than just informative tobacco reviews Mark. You’ve provided me with intrigue and laughter. I’m finding my way through all your videos because they are inspiring for many reasons. If/when I make my way to your neck of the woods I will surely stop into Ronnie’s in the hope to say hello Sir. I hope you’re well and wish you the best. Ryan
Hi again: Having worked and owned part of a pipe shop in the 1970's I was honored to actually meet Ole Larsen in Los Angeles at a pipe show which was held for the Tinder Box retail stores each year. He would bring some spectacular pipes to the show and was always a very gracious host. Anyway the point of this comment is to mention that I am not surprised to see that you found the W.O. Larsen blend to be the most impressive of the group. Although Ole is long gone apparently whoever is in charge is carrying his tradition of excellence into the 21st century. Happy smoking.
...yeah...they really have a long tradition of craftmanship ...for sure! Great, to hear about your meeting with Ole Larsen...must have been some great experience! Thanks for telling about that! Take care! Hope, you are well! Mark
Very exhaustive review Mark, thanks for covering up all these blends. I was waiting for this video before placing an order as I’ve had a few deceptions in the past. No question about it, Christmas is by far the most commercial religious holiday so there’s no question as why we get special blends for the occasion. As for the 40th edition of the Aylesbury blend, for some reason, it’s about half price on this side of the Atlantic. P.S. For those who want to order from Ronny, he also accepts payments through PayPal. I've ordered from him at many occasions. Service has always been A-1 and while being very affordable, delivery takes only a few days.
I tell you mark you are comfortable to watch. What a gift of presentation you have. So enjoyable and thanks for all the information. Take care and smoke in good health.
Mark my good friend! Another good rundown of the holiday tobacco offerings...that's a lot of choices. Really do like the tin art this year, perhaps that's not too important, but I like it....shows some class... ...though it would be appreciated if they also put as much thought into the blend. But we should be grateful...there is plenty of good and interesting stuff out there. To be honest many of these still sounded intriguing to me.... Thanks for your work and thoughts on all these tobaccos, Take care and we'll talk soon, Corey
Corey, my friend! Thank you so much for that! As always very thoughtful words...and I absolutely agree...even about the intriguing touch of these tobaccos... :-) Take care, my friend! We'll talk soon! Mark
Nice to see you again! Thank you for your review. The John Anderson tins looked as if they designed it with the warning sticker in mind. I'll check out the Larsen and the 40 year edition. Moving and the beginning of a new term seems like the perfect storm; I appreciate your dedication to making your videos. Cheers!
Thank you so much for that, my friend! Really appreciated! And...yeah...some producers already adapted to the new laws...and some of the tins, available also on US market, have a different design on the front side for European markets...and even worse...sometimes also different names...because "vanilla", "chocolate" and other "food names" are no longer allowed for tobacco...sad ... but true! Take care! Be well! Mark
Just finished three bowls of the Aylesbury and, for the first time, have experienced a match between the tin note and the smoking flavor. Thanks for the recommendation! I think I am beginning to develop a palate that is more sensitive to discrete tobacco tastes. The apricot note dominated the smoke for me, but it was a remarkably cool smoke, but perhaps that was due to my new meerschaum pipe from Altinok Pipes that has a 9mm filter,
Hello Mark. Thank you for sharing the overview of the holiday and other blends with us and taking time to do this. I have already smoked Peterson Christmas Blend 2017 once and I'm waiting for K&K Winter Edition 2017 to come. Last year both blends were very tasty. I know that you get a lot of requests and suggestions by viewers, but if you will have time and will to do it in the future, I would really like to see which tobaccos you cellar/preserve. Be well my friend, Janez
Based on your review of Larsens Craftsman Edition, I purchased a tin and I like it. Not an everyday smoke for me but it's great for the Holiday Season.
Mark, I really enjoyed these frank reviews. Thank you for taking the time. Good luck with your move to your new place! Show us your study and desk area when you're set up -- your previous desk and bookshelves (in the meerschaum videos) was very nice. Does Ronny's Place have a website? Also, it would be very interesting to me to see a video where you talk about your comparisons of briars and meers -- do the briars taste sweeter and fuller to you, even if those tastes aren't really in the tobacco itself? Why do you choose the type of pipe, on a given day, for a specific tobacco? Do you dedicate your briars? Thanks!
Hello Vic! Thank you so much for taking the time...and good hints on further topics! Well...Ronny unfortunately doesn't have a "real" website...just the official John Aylesbury one... But you can just look anywhere else on the internet...and give Ronny a mail with the list of things, you would like to order... Take care, my friend! Hope, you are well! Mark
Your sacrifice in smoking all these aromatics (over 500g!) is much appreciated. Sadly, the K&K Asia was not a blend of "Soy sauce, bonito flake, and nori". That would have been something. Cheers. :-)
Very nice review Mark. Always look forward to the holiday season review. Sorry to hear about that initial chemical hit on most of the tobaccos....Will ageing kill that chemical undertone. Hope you have a great Christmas. Enjoy!!!
Hi Mark Good video as always!!! I bought a tin of the Rattrays. For me it tasts good, but I have problems in keeping the tobacco burning, especially in small pipes. The other holiday tobaccos are most probably not my favourites, because I don't like fruit and berry in tobacco. I like aromatics, but I prefer stuff like vanilla, caramel, chocolate, coffee, maple etc. instead of fruit and berry. Best Regards from SaarlandBernd
Hi Mark... Ronny's place was quite busy...I imagine it is not so comfortable to do videos in a situation like that...even for a well seasoned speaker as you are...so...thank you for your videos... About InterTabac...I was very happy to see that the 2017 pipe of the year was a Mastro de Paja...a very great way to celebrate their 45° Anniversary... I wish you all the best with your new apartment... Take care and be well my friend... See you on the next one...
Thank you so much for that, my friend! And...yeah...completely agreed on the Mastro de Paja! Well...it really was quite busy at Ronny's...but after one or two minutes...you just forget about the others... Thanks for good wishes! And be well! Mark
Thank you Mark.. Holiday tobaccos can be hard a hard decision to buy. Sometimes, as you have shown, they can be be very good or very average at premium prices. We appreciate your reviews!
Not a big aromatic smoker anymore, but some of that tin art makes me want to buy some of those tobaccos. Thanks for taking the time to share these blends with us. Take care.
I am a little late in watching this video. I have been wanting to try the petersons christmas blend. Can't find any of these stateside. Great video mark. I really enjoy your videos.
First - thanks again for taking the time and effort - greatly appreciated. Don't know why CjPiper made his comment but he is ever sooooo right. Our new president has accomplished more in one year than presidents in the previous 16 years. Doggone shame the US media is so terribly bias. You have a way of presenting that is unique / enjoyable. I cannot even begin to tolerate aromatic tobacco's. There were a couple of Peterson's that were okay and not overwhelming and one Cornell & Diehl, Autumn Evening, that I have been able to smoke but always with reservation. I really like the tin art stuff and would like to see some company do it in the non-aromatic tobacco venue's. Always looking forward to your presentations - great. God bless Jim
Hi Mark. Although I am not an aromatic smoker I found the video very interesting and entertaining! As a mainly english tobacco smoker I prefer for example MacBarens Plumcake as an holiday season tobacco. Have good time and greetings from Zurich, Armin
Hello Armin! Yeah...you have good company in that...John smokes the Plumcake during holiday seasons too... :-) Thanks a lot for taking the time! And give my best to the Tabaklädeli...my friend just brought a nice treat of McClellands from their shelf... Take care! Be well! Mark
it's about time you send some business Ronny's way :) .... Larson makes some really decent aromatics in my opinion. I love their Signature blend and especially their 2016 blend. Good to see you friend. i always look forward to this video
Thank you Mark for another great video and for investing so much time in sampling these blends ... and for the honest review. Would it not be a great change of pace to find a producer who describes thier tobacco as, "Not anything special but we think you will enjoy smoking this tobacco." LOL
...yeah! That's really a good point! I think, it would be worth a shot, to try some honest modesty once and a while... Thanks a lot for that...and for very kind words, my friend! Take care! Hope, you are well! Mark
Hello Mark: Another great review of the Christmas tobacco blends. Thanks for that. Wow...Ronnys Place looks to be such an awesome establishment. It seems like a very comfortable, friendly atmosphere to enjoy some relaxing down-time. I wish we had something comparable, here in New York. Nothing close. I think that a Hanukkah or Ramadan tobacco, would be a great idea. Do you think that you could go to your shed, and pull off a "Brisket" or "Latke"-flavored tobacco??? That Just might just be a big seller!!! "TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE". Be Well, my friend. Ed
Ed, my good friend! Always good, to have you here! Thank you so much for taking the long time! And...yeah...being at Ronny's place is somehow like being at home...for many guys even better...cos they can smoke there...lol Just wondering, that you don't have something comparable in the "capitol of the world"...nearly can't believe it... And...yeah...I think, I'll try to talk to someone about the Hanukkah or Ramadan baccy as soon as I get the chance... Thanks for taking the time, my friend! Hope, you are well!! Mark ps: anything from Mike?
Great reviews Mark. I have always found most of the Christmas blends to be a bit over the top with aromatic additives but to each his own. That is an interesting pipe you are smoking. Can you tell us more about it?
Hello Doug! Thanks for taking the time! Much appreciated! Yeah...well...completely forgot about the pipe...that's a Holmer Knudson handmade ...9mm... Take care! Be well! Mark
Mark, your new glasses are very handsome! On your recommendation, I just ordered a Tin of John Aylesbury 40 Year Edition and it will be here on Monday. I can't wait!
Mark!!! Brother!!!! 😁😁.. How are you doing my friend... Really appreciate your time with the reviews I gave Ronny an email.. I know how busy you are lately I hope all is going well.. Got another meerschaum on the way from our friend.. My back is getting better still not there but better... Take care Mark always great to see you 👍😁👍😁
Brad, brother! Great, to hear, that your back is getting better...hang in...and be careful...you'll get there! We'll talk soon, my friend! And take care! Mark
Wie Gehts Mark,Thank you for taking time to review these Holiday Blends, more to tell, recently I was pleasantly surpriced and delighted noticing Mc Baren introduced the mighty ST Bruno tobacco for the German market, if there was not Germany and in some degree England, we pipesmokers in other Eu countries, especially those who are living in the eastern or northern part of the continent would have been facing to very scarcy scenario , then only option left would a been either to smoke mediocre OTC aromatics /or MC Baren basic blends for double price or to start home growing, or to emigrate away, I'm happy to learn you managed to settle in your new recidency without broken nerves or spine, Ps.Dhl maxibrief international kostet ca,5e bis 500gr brief )) Thank You and Beste Grüsse ,aus dem südlichem Hafenstadt Kotka- Finnl.,Paul
Paul, my friend! Thank you so much for taking the (very long) time!...lol...just couldn't do it any shorter... :-) And ... yeah... the St. Bruno is back...for quite some while... And...I guess, you're right...I sometimes forget about the situation in other countries...just when I ask someone "can you sent me something local, just available at your place?"...they normally answer "well..there is no such thing..." then I'm reminded of the sad situation, we face in Europe (but also in Asia and other regions) these days... And when England leaves us...guess, we have to set our hopes in HU, DanTobacco, Motzek and some other companies...beside the great great "classicals" like Mac Baren of course... And...home growing might still be an option ... :-)) Take care! Hope, you are well! Mark
Yes,thats very true, there is only two basic traditional nordic' otc brands that ain't available in Germany or anywhere else outside the Sweden&Finland: Greve Gilbert Hamiltons Blend and Caravelle, produced by Scandinvian tobacco Group, both these mediocre quality ribbon cut Virginia-Burely Orient with light alcohol toppings, should your appetite grows towards any of those, give me an alert and I shall get 'em for you, Paul
Hi mark thanks for sharing love the channel and locations you visit could you please take the time to tell me what's the pipe your smoking thanks stay safe
hello Mark my friend awesome video these blends sound just delightful and the Art work on them are amazing and so beautiful I appreciate you taking the time to bring these reviews to us about the blends Mark I'm gonna see if I can get them here in the states if not I'm going to contact Ronny and place an order you did an excellent job Mark thanks again buddy happy Holidays and enjoy ur smokes👍👍👍👍👍☺☺☺☺☺☺☺ best regards Peter.
Peter, my friend! Always so good, to have you here! Many thanks for taking the time! And let me know, if you order anything from Ronny! I'll keep an eye on it.. :-) Let's talk soon, my friend...been a while, since we hit each other on voxer... Take care! Be well! Mark
Bremen Pipe Smoker thanks so much Mark I haven't reached out to you on Voxer because I had to close my account with them to free up some space on my phone
Hi Mark, Long video, but good video! It helps to save some money. I only bought the Rattrays, like it, but nothing special for the price. A few days ago I was in Miltenberg at Falkum's. Bought a lot of tobacco, and they Christmas Tobacco. Have not smoked it yet, but the smell was very delicious, I hope the smoke will be delicious, too. Ok, before my comment gets as long as your video😉 I only want tell my wish for Kohlhases journey to Europe: Rinderroulade! Really! See you next time, have a nice smoke! Greetings Andreas PS: I like your "Stopfer" (Forgot the english word)
Andreas, my friend! Thank you so much for that! Yeah...lol...why not! If "dragon fruit" seems appropriate...then why not some nice "Rinderroulade"...just wondering, how they gonna do that... :-) Envy you for your visit at Falkum's! It's just that far...but one day, I gonna make it, for sure! Let me know about their X-mas tobacco! And...yeah...unfortunately I'm out of tampers right now....already have some good friends waiting...please, remind me at some point during the next months...would be my pleasure... Take care! Be well...and enjoy the x-mas blends! Mark
Hi Mark, I never asked if you send me one of your tampers, but if this is not a problem for you in the future I would be very happy. I like them, they look great. And they are only made with a Dremel... WOW. Of course, I would like to thank you in the form of a tobacco from Dortmund, a pretty interesting house mixture, in my opinion. Talk about tobacco, my next video will be about the Falkum X-Mas Tobacco, or officially Tobacco of the Year 2017. But I have to smoke it a few times more. A really strange tobacco by now, it smells fruity, but the taste is completely something else. We will see. Okay, my friend 😉, have a nice rest week. Greetings Andreas
Exactly Mark! I took a sniff in nearly every of these tins and detected - as You did - mostly chemical scents. So: I did not want to taste at least one of them. Thanks for doing that for me! Be well, Dirk
Thanks a lot for taking the time! And...yeah...it's a butane insert...done by "Z+"...I have it for many years now...and can't find a similar product right now....tested several (also the actual Z+)...but the quality right now is "substandard"...to say the least... But I keep searching...and will let you now, as soon, as I find a proper one... Take care! Be well! Mark
Could the fact that Santa Claus is often depicted smoking a pipe that tobacco blenders often bring out a Christmas blend? Don't recall seeing the Peterson's Christmas Blend in the States or at least my regular online sellers. We don't see the tins you are showing. Thanks for the video presentation. Heard from a traveler to Italy, they don't sell American blends there. It's a shame that pipe tobacco has been the target of big government health controls. The tin art you are showing is fantastic.
Hello Glen! Thanks a lot for taking the tiem...and very interesting comment! Yeah...maybe Santa could be held responsible for that...lol...but guess, we can't be sure, if he's really an Aromatic lover... :-) And...yeah...they don't sell any American tobaccos inside European Union...mostly because of some forbidden ingredients... as you said...it's a shame! But at least, there is still Ronny, willing to send you whatever you need... :-) Take care! Be well! Mark
Yeah...you're not the first one, to point that out...lol... Guess, I just don't get it...sorry... But Liquorice (Lakritze) and Anise are separated things ...at least...here... Licorice is made from the roots of the licorice plant and Anise is a different plant...but very near in taste... That's, why they put both on the description...I guess... But you're right...because, the taste is not that different...and there may be neither real Licorice nor Anise in it... Thanks for taking the time...and the hint! Take care! Hope, you are well! Mark
Hmmm Peterson putting out an Eid tobacco? Well they’d need to put out 2 blends a year lol👍🏾 great selection of tobaccos Mark and loving the tin art, thanks for the video and be well!
...lol...you got a sharp eye, my friend...but these are just my reading glasses... guess, I'm getting old... :-) And...yeah...I can do this...thanks for the hint...and for taking the time! Take care! Mark
that would be great! I dont even smoke, but nonetheless I enjoy your videos greatly. As i love to learn. Zippos on the other hand, i do youe, but im tired of the gasoline running out, thats why i want to change to a gas insert. But there seem to be no good options available.
Hi my friend. Mark, could you tell me which pipe is this you using in this video? Its good-lookin and I would like to know the pipe maker and the model as well If It possible. TKS. Hope you be well.
Bremen Pipe Smoker that is excelent, Mark! Do you have Instagram or could you send me some pictures of it? Do you know where I can find It to buy? TKS for your attention!
Oguz, my good friend! Yeah...well...perhaps, that may be an idea for the "Bosporus" tobacco producers... perhaps something with pistachios...grape and Yaladag...hmmmm Hope, you are well, my friend! Take good care of you and your family! Mark
Hi Mark, your holiday blend reviews are an annual highlight, incidentally which fuel do you use in your zippo, don't you get petrol flavor in your pipe? As to religious blends, I guess the manufacturing countries are creating blends to the prevailing religion in their country, that would certainly be true with Peterson, they don't get more religious than the Irish ;-)
I wonder about the shipping, because over here (Poland) shipping tobacco is illegal. It could be seen as contraband and you could go to jail or be fined thousands of €. I'm kinda of iffy on this.
Bremen sorry you had to take the bullet for the rest of us but thank you. Could you describe the chemical taste that your you referring to I’m curious I taste something funny some time I’m wondering if it’s a chemical that I’m tasting and thank you again
Thanks for watching! And...well...just glad, if it was at least of some help... :-) Well...the "chemical taste" is alike the smell, you get by first use of a hotplate, after using some cleaner ... or first use of a new toaster... It's mostly typical for aromatics with cheap topings or citrus/orange topings...when the chemical ingredients can't stand the heat and the phenols start burning... Take care! And be well! Mark
I think I will pass on these too, I usually take long enouth to go through 50g of an aromatic tobacco, 100g will just go to waste and if they are not that special anyway... Maybe I will go to my old friend the MacBaren Navy Flake, that allways reminds me of christmas and Mariazeller Lebkuchen especially
That is really hard to say for me, I don't smoke a lot, just two to three, sometimes four bowls a week. A tin usually lasts me at least 6 weeks I guess.
...yeah...I just doubt, that they'll do something like that... lol.... Actually, I once talked to the blendmaster of Planta, and he told me, that some guys ask him for a "chilli tobacco"...and he said..."how should I do that?...just doing some nasty harsh tobacco and sell as chilli?"...lol Take care! Be well! Mark
Hay i like to say love your videos i allways lern sumthing and you know i wus allways told by my mom that all good things and people ar worth wayting on and you and 3 others in YTPC ar like a GOOD CUP OF COFFee or cup of tea and you and 3 others ar like part of my pipe rutual win i light up a good tubbaco in my pipe.ow and i sint you 3 emails.
Thanks for watching...and demonstrating the German way of constructive criticism to the international community! So much appreciated! Take care! Hope, you are well! Mark
I get a real charge out of your holiday tobacco reviews. I've always enjoyed the W.O. Larsen products.Great job Mark!
Thank you so much for that, John! Means a lot!

Your seasonal tobacco reviews are my favorite videos. Great to hear from you and I wish you happy holidays.
This is without a doubt the funniest tobacco review I ever saw on TH-cam. Thanks!
I look forward to these reviews each season. Thank you my friend! Btw....love that pipe!
Love your reviews and in particular your Holiday Blends review. Big fan of your on-location videos. Thanks for sharing and Tight Lines.
Always like the review videos from Ronny's shop. Going to have to look into trying the John Aylesbury 40th anniversary edition now.

God bless
Jim
please don't try to lie to an historian, you will lose. The Fake president has done nothing but tarnish what it means to be an american.
Bravo Mark I thoroughly enjoy your insightful reviews and cultural excursions. Grazie , Sandro.
Hello Sandro!
Thank you so much for stopping by ... and most kind words! So much appreciated!
Take care!
Mark
Great video. Health, happiness and prosperity to you for the Holidays and the year to come
Thanks for that! And same to you, my friend!
Take care!
Mark
Thanks a lot for taking the time! And give my best to the Tabaklädeli...my friend just brought a nice treat of McClellands from their shelf...
Take care! Be well!
Mark
I absolutely love the Christmas tobacco's I buy quite a few tens so I can have it year round but my absolute favorite is the McClelland holiday spirit
it's about time you send some business Ronny's way :) .... Larson makes some really decent aromatics in my opinion. I love their Signature blend and especially their 2016 blend. Good to see you friend. i always look forward to this video
Ethan, my friend!
Thanks for that...and yeah...Ronny deserves it...lol
Take care! We'll talk soon!
Mark
Great video!!! The W.O Larson tobacco sounds great!
Thanks for that! Much appreciated!
Hope, you are well! And take care!
Mark
Thank you Mark for another great video and for investing so much time in sampling these blends ... and for the honest review. Would it not be a great change of pace to find a producer who describes thier tobacco as, "Not anything special but we think you will enjoy smoking this tobacco." LOL
...yeah! That's really a good point! I think, it would be worth a shot, to try some honest modesty once and a while...
Thanks a lot for that...and for very kind words, my friend!
Take care!
Hope, you are well!
Mark
Another great review Marc .
Thanks for that! Take care! And be well!
And...yeah...being at Ronny's place is somehow like being at home...for many guys even better...cos they can smoke there...lol
Just wondering, that you don't have something comparable in the "capitol of the world"...nearly can't believe it...
And...yeah...I think, I'll try to talk to someone about the Hanukkah or Ramadan baccy as soon as I get the chance...
Thanks for taking the time, my friend! Hope, you are well!!
Mark
ps: anything from Mike?
Great channel. I like your reviews.
Thanks for that, my friend! Enjoy!
Hope, you are well!

Wie Gehts Mark,Thank you for taking time to review these Holiday Blends, more to tell, recently I was pleasantly surpriced and delighted noticing Mc Baren introduced the mighty ST Bruno tobacco for the German market, if there was not Germany and in some degree England, we pipesmokers in other Eu countries, especially those who are living in the eastern or northern part of the continent would have been facing to very scarcy scenario , then only option left would a been either to smoke mediocre OTC aromatics /or MC Baren basic blends for double price or to start home growing, or to emigrate away, I'm happy to learn you managed to settle in your new recidency without broken nerves or spine,
Ps.Dhl maxibrief international kostet ca,5e bis 500gr brief )) Thank You and Beste Grüsse ,aus dem südlichem Hafenstadt Kotka- Finnl.,Paul
Paul, my friend!
Thank you so much for taking the (very long) time!...lol...just couldn't do it any shorter... :-)
And ... yeah... :-))
Take care!
Great reviews Mark.... thnx
Thank you so much for this. You are also appreciated as an investment consultant for this holiday season. Be well
Just glad, if it was at least of some help... Thanks for taking the time! Hope, you are well!
And take care!
Mark

Mark
Bremen Pipe Smoker thanks so much Mark I haven't reached out to you on Voxer because I had to close my account with them to free up some space on my phone
Good video as usual. Thank you for your HONEST opinion.
Thanks for that! So much appreciated! And ... well...truth must be told... :-) But as I said...just my opinion!
Take care! Be well!
Mark
Really enjoyed the video keep up the great work
Hi Mark,
Long video, but good video!
Greetings
Andreas
PS: I like your "Stopfer" (Forgot the english word)
Andreas, my friend!
Thank you so much for that!
Yeah...lol...why not! If "dragon fruit" seems appropriate...then why not some nice "Rinderroulade"...just wondering, how they gonna do that... :-)
Envy you for your visit at Falkum's!
Mark
Hi Mark,
I never asked if you send me one of your tampers, but if this is not a problem for you in the future I would be very happy.
Greetings
Andreas
Exactly Mark! I took a sniff in nearly every of these tins and detected - as You did - mostly chemical scents. So: I did not want to taste at least one of them. Thanks for doing that for me!
Be well, Dirk
Hello Dirk!
Yeah...lol...you're welcome! Glad, if it was of some help!
Take care! And be well!
Mark
Entertaining - enjoy- merry Xmass from Newfoundland Canada
The zippo lighter you use is that a butane insert in there . If so how do you like it and they make a pipe lighter butane insert also .
Take care! Be well!
Mark
What is the purple tin with the liquorice & chocolate called? I'd love to try some!
And...yeah...they don't sell any American tobaccos inside European Union...mostly because of some forbidden ingredients... as you said...it's a shame!
But at least, there is still Ronny, willing to send you whatever you need... :-)
Take care! Be well!
Mark
Good for Peterson for doing that!
Liquorice is pronounced "lick - ur-ish" ("ish" as in "mitt"), and Anise is the taste of liquorice. Really good reviews. Thanks!
Mark
You're right. They are separate, but--in my experience--are denoted as very similar. Thanks!
Oh yes let’s have a good Bavarian blend with sauerkraut and bratwurst toppings. You’re cracking me up . I love your dry humor. Thanks.
Hmmm Peterson putting out an Eid tobacco? Well they’d need to put out 2 blends a year lol👍🏾 great selection of tobaccos Mark and loving the tin art, thanks for the video and be well!
...yeah...lol...well...they do x-mas and Easter tobacco...so...why not? :-)
Thanks for taking the time! And be well!
Mark
Great video. thank you
Cornell & Diehl has a Hebraica series of blends so perhaps there is a type of Hanukkah blends.
Thanks for the hint!
Take care!
Mark
outstanding reviews.
Thanks for that! Really so much appreciated!
Take care!
Mark
Usefull and fresh, as always. Germany - piper's heaven! :) Nice to see you, take care!
Thank you so much for that, my friend!
Take care! Hope, you are well!
Mark
are those new glasses?
Also, could you kindly talk about your Zippo and the inserts that might be good options a little?
...lol...you got a sharp eye, my friend...but these are just my reading glasses... guess, I'm getting old... :-)
And...yeah...I can do this...thanks for the hint...and for taking the time!
Take care!
Mark
that would be great!
I dont even smoke, but nonetheless I enjoy your videos greatly. As i love to learn.
Zippos on the other hand, i do youe, but im tired of the gasoline running out, thats why i want to change to a gas insert. But there seem to be no good options available.
Props to Rattray's for stickin' it to the man.
...yeah...agreed! :-)
Thanks for taking the time! Take care!
Mark
Amazing video. fine tin art and chemical tobacco... awesome
Thanks for that! And...as I said...just my opinion...
Take care! Hope, you are well!
Mark
Hi my friend. Mark, could you tell me which pipe is this you using in this video? Its good-lookin and I would like to know the pipe maker and the model as well If It possible. TKS. Hope you be well.
Hello Marcel!
Well...that's a Holmer Knudson handmade pipe...doesn't have a name or number on it...sorry...
Take care! Hope, you are well!
Mark
Bremen Pipe Smoker that is excelent, Mark! Do you have Instagram or could you send me some pictures of it? Do you know where I can find It to buy? TKS for your attention!
ramadan tobacco...you are real world citizen.you will never walk alone my friend.take care mark and be well.
Oguz, my good friend!
Yeah...well...perhaps, that may be an idea for the "Bosporus" tobacco producers... perhaps something with pistachios...grape and Yaladag...hmmmm
Hope, you are well, my friend!
Thanks for that, my friend...good thoughts!
Well, I use a butan insert for my Zippo...don't like the smell of the fuel...lol
Take care! Be well!
Mark
I wonder about the shipping, because over here (Poland) shipping tobacco is illegal. It could be seen as contraband and you could go to jail or be fined thousands of €. I'm kinda of iffy on this.
Respect Mark and thanks for info and I agree citrus and tobacco are hot at ALL combination :-)
Thanks for that, my friend! Hope, you are well!
Take care!
Mark
Bremen sorry you had to take the bullet for the rest of us but thank you. Could you describe the chemical taste that your you referring to I’m curious I taste something funny some time I’m wondering if it’s a chemical that I’m tasting and thank you again
Thanks for watching! And...well...just glad, if it was at least of some help... :-)
Well...the "chemical taste" is alike the smell, you get by first use of a hotplate, after using some cleaner ... or first use of a new toaster... It's mostly typical for aromatics with cheap topings or citrus/orange topings...when the chemical ingredients can't stand the heat and the phenols start burning...
Take care! And be well!
Mark
Bremen Pipe Smoker thank you Bremen and keep the lit side up
Catalunya want’s to bé FREE to decide his future, and yes, crema catalana is a NICE tipical desert
I don't smoke at the moment, but out of interest how many bowls would you say you can get out of 50 grams and 100 grams of tobacco, respectively?
That is really hard to say for me, I don't smoke a lot, just two to three, sometimes four bowls a week. A tin usually lasts me at least 6 weeks I guess.
Thanks, might try get a tin or two soon then.
Thanks for taking the time, my friend! Yeah...Navy Flake is never a bad choice! Enjoy!
Take care!
Mark
Hi Mark great video but I must comment I like saurkraut, but please not in my tobacco! LoL Be well Mark. Thank's Ron.
...lol...yeah...agreed on that!
Thanks for watching! And take care!
Mark
I was just thinkin why there is a ton of sweet tobaccos but no savory like garlic or chili. Then you said said garlic tobacco.
...yeah...I just doubt, that they'll do something like that... lol.... Actually, I once talked to the blendmaster of Planta, and he told me, that some guys ask him for a "chilli tobacco"...and he said..."how should I do that?...just doing some nasty harsh tobacco and sell as chilli?"...lol
Take care! Be well!
Mark
Baccy Time yumy
Baccy Time yumy
"Ramadan tobacco"? I am not sure you are allowed to smoke during Ramadan anyway ;-)
Yeah...well...but at least at the sugar feast... :-)
Thanks for taking the time! Be well!
Mark
Mac Baren modern virginia flaket is a fruity tobacco that i like to smoke during Christmas betwen My heavy English blends.
If you want ramadan tobacco, you probably need to look for shisha stuff? Would be my guess.
