Freedom From Abuse - Mai

When Mai immigrated to the United States from Iraq, her childhood abuse only grew worse. A tumultuous relationship with her father left her feeling alone and without hope. Moments before an arranged marriage, Mai escaped from New York to Idaho only to be met with similar circumstances. That is, until she came to church with her now-husband and formed a relationship with her Father in Heaven through Jesus. Mai’s story is inspirational for those who are silently suffering abuse. SALVATION
A relationship with God through Jesus Christ will change your life.
"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
God sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on a cross so that we would have a relationship with Him. We are forgiven of all of our sins, made right with God, and granted access to Heaven when we put our faith in Him. Jesus called this being born again (John 3:3). The Bible says "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
If you're ready for a relationship with God that will change your life forever, then say this prayer out loud:
"God, I repent of all my sins and give my life to you. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me, and that You raised Him from the dead. I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for working in my life. I am now born again and am going to Heaven. Help me to live this life for You. In Jesus’ name, amen."
