I've had a couple of spending sprees myself, my mum and I have tried to be careful too about ordering things that are a copy of someone else's hard work. Or to just steer clear of certain items like you said.
Lamy invested in the original design and engineering of their pens, uses higher quality resins and parts (see other comments here), has better quality control, has a warranty, has marketing, has physical stores, and has product support... all of which adds to their expenses. All of this may or may not justify the cost difference to you, but it illustrates that there is much more to consider than what was mentioned above. Also consider, in many places, the Lamy pens are sold in brick and mortar stores, and the pricing guidelines from Lamy have to accomodate those stores' expenses and profits, too.
@@SerenWen_artYou put your comment under mine, which is about Lamy. I presume you meant to comment on Temu. I would edit your comment to reference Temu, or better yet, remove it and put it under the video and not my comment.

Those all looked like a great batch of art supplies. I particularly love the largest 120 pencil bag. The watercolors & the paper worked lovely. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video with us💕 😊
I’ve seem Temu advertised on Facebook and I was suspicious of the super cheap prices they showed in the ads, so I didn’t even go and look at the website (I’ve been caught out before by companies who advertise on Facebook!), but seeing this, I feel a spending spree coming on hahaha
I'm exactly the same with Facebook ads, and wasn't interested till a friend mentioned using them. I think you just have to pick and choose individual items carefully. Sorry about the spree!
Love the pencil case, been looking at them on net for all pencils , instead of being in separate tins & small cases this gives a better overview. Really enjoy your unpacking of art hauls, I enjoy it as much as Iwould if I’d ordered! Fun!
I think you can get larger capacity ones as well. It will take me longer to get them and put them away, but less time trying to find the right one in the first place!
You can disregard any comments that have the words "Temu sells/stocks/violates x ethical point/etc" - there are a lot of people that have no idea Temu is just an online marketplace, and they have absolutely no idea you can find the same items by local sellers within your country on Temu as you can on other well established brands websites (and in stores). People write not just the site off as one seller, but also assume he products are bootlegs, but I've done a feckload of cross referencing online as well as buying stuff on Temu and in other stores on and offline, and they are selling the exact same products a lot of the time, even if they're under different brands. Unless you're looking for specific designer brands, many of the products are the same just before a bigger retailer buys and marks them up. Someone's gotta manufacture them, and if you check most labels,it's all in China - Main thing is to check your descriptions and ratings carefully, as with literally any online marketplace. Temu have returns and all that jazz same as anyone else.
I think it's a case of people deciding if they want to continue buying Chinese products (inc.Temu) or not. It's quite tricky to avoid it. I bought some Ranger Tim Holtz products recently, and had no idea they were made in China.
Happened upon this video. Love that you did an art supply TEMU haul. I live in the US, have purchased many items from TEMU. Great to see many affordable art supplies. Thanks for sharing😊
I have the same zippered pouch (with side access zip) and it is great for plein air painting. I can easily access the large inner section without opening the main zip. If I have a flat place to put it, the wires opening and flat bottom of the bag means easy access and it doesn't tip over. I also have the small wooden palette. The magnets aren't terribly strong, so I secure it with a soft hair tie. I've tried all three of the Academy papers and enjoy them. Temu also has some really ice small watercolour sketchbooks, with different styled and colourful covers. These are a great price and work well.
I need those Baohong papers asap. I’ve always been skeptical of ordering from Temu or Alibaba. You’ve got me convinced to try them out. I love your haul. Looking forward to putting my order out soon.
Having used them for a while now, I would definitely recommend the Cold Pressed Baohong, but I don't enjoy the Hot Pressed as much, compared to other Hot Pressed ones I've tried.
Thanks - you've just made me do another Temu order! I have the wooden palette and the water holder and the superior paints already and agree totally with your assessment :)
I love all the pallets.. I never thought to look for those on Temu, I will now tho. Especially the wood one and little tins..for my purse and grandkids
Hi Helen, Really great Temu unboxing - I’ve been curious about it but after having a quick look I didn’t bother with it but im enjoying seeing the art supplies you found - you got a good price for the Marie’s water brush pot. 👍
What a great haul. I've ordered some tiny wooden palettes from Temu and some stamps like yours, but I've wondered about their watercolour paper. This was really helpful. Thank you!
If I am not mistaken, the sponge on the little fan-out palettte removes for easy cleaning. I have the same one. It attaches via velcro. And i believe the paints are dye based.
I didn’t expect to enjoy this video as much as I did, It just popped cause I recently made my first purchase in Temu, a few art supplies. Hopefully everything comes good ✨🌸
I'm all for buying clones. There is no reason for lamy to charge the price they do for what it is. It isn't like fountain pens are anywhere near the nib quality they used to be. When modern fountain pen companies start making nibs equal to the quality of vintage antique nibs then yeah, then people should get what they pay for, but as it stands now there isn't a single difference between lamy and jinhao. Both use the exact same resin, plastics etc.
I did think the same about Lamy until I purchased one of their pens and I’d never go back to knock offs. I purchased a knock off from Aliexpress not knowing it was a knock off and thinking I was getting a cheaper price and when I got it - the ink seal was terrible and leaked every time I used it, I then purchased the Lamy AlStar and just the feel of it gives you instant security as it’s a weighty pen and the ink seal is perfection.
Thanks for your perspective! There's a difference in the materials of my Lamy pen and this new one - the new one feels like cheap shiny plastic, and my Lamy is a much more pleasing texture and appearance. I still don't agree with companies directly copying another company's design, if the first company has spent time, effort and cost in product development/advertising etc.
That's cool. I'm sorry y'all had a bad experience. I purchased a 599 many many many years ago and it's still going strong. I wonder if they changed them, but I don't wonder enough to buy another one lol. Sounds like a case of you get what you pay for, for some.
Helen, I ordered from temu several times lol! I like it! I've ordered the tiny wooden 8colored empty palette! I think the magnets need to be stronger in my opinion! But, I like it ~ rubber band or some kind of tie would help. I ordered a few journals that I noticed one didn't have the 100 percent cotton. So, for that I am using to practice on. Lol! I almost bought the academy paper! I'm wishing I did! I will the next time I order~ I bought other art supplies, clothes, a purse. And some other things to make a junk journal too. They do have some nice things. Ya just have to read the comments (reviews) and such. Great haul for you 👍🏻 Have fun with your haul ❤️✝️🙏🏻
I have become addicted to just the art supplies from Temu. I have about three days a week something arrives. Currently working on a collection of watercolor pallettes
Hi from Australia, l have never ordered any items from Temu , great to hear your review of the products, also to see how well they are packed for sending. I make cards and like to use paint and pencil quite often so all your info was very helpful, thankyou 😀
Hello! Nothing arrived damaged at all, I was actually quite impressed. I'm just uploading a video now reviewing the paints I bought, and I'm very pleasantly surprised! I'm sure there's plenty on the site that isn't good quality, so things need choosing with a bit of care.
I love the Meeden ceramic pallets. There are a number of them (sizes and styles). Highly recommend them. They also do a water jar that has two sections so you can always keep one for clean water.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Temu art supplies. I have had great experience with them with only 2 exceptions on rechargeable batteries. I searched pencil ✏ cases and found so many cute ones in various camouflage patterns with different compartments. Including Molle systems which are normally very expensive with small ones being $15 >n the least. Not on Temu. Most were well under $10 $ $5.
You got a really good haul!!! I love the color pencil case, I have been looking for one and this looks like a perfect fit. I have also wondered about the foldout paints, but I have so many watercolors already that I think I will skip, although I'll keep it in the back of my mind. The other thing is the watercolor paper, it's always so expensive, so this is a great find. Thanks for sharing! ❤
I haven’t checked out Temu yet, trying to avoid any temptation for things I don’t “need” at the moment lol. However, definitely seems like a spot to keep in mind. I like those mesh pencil cases for organizing and being able to see what’s inside. I also wonder if my pencils would get more use if they were stored in one of those 120-elastic slot cases? I’m a sucker for all things stationary like the stamp-stickers and highlighters as well. I used to do a TON of card-making for a few years. Had to stop buying rubber stamping and cricut supplies a few years ago and admit I had enough… I get easily sucked into craft-supply shopping 😂.
It's definitely one of those places where you'll find things you really don't need! Plenty of junk on there too, I'm sure. I've sated my curiosity at least, and especially with getting the Baohong. Cardmaking was my thing too years back! I ended up on the Design Teams for a few companies though - Karen Burniston (when she worked with Sizzix and after) Stamps of Life with Stephanie Barnard, Purple Onion Stamps, Elizabeth Craft Designs, so I'd get loads of dies and stamps etc from them too! Still have lots of my most favourite ones!
Hi@@helencryer, good news ! A have a friend which boyfriend lives in France and she gave me he's address to ship my Temu orders ! I'm so grateful, just wanted to share it with you. Thanks for all the inspirations. 💖
For Temu I have heard that products are hit and miss plus false advertising is also there. You got lucky with your order. I loved your haul. Really excited for you to use more of the Baohong watercolor paper and give a review. Really looking forward to know how you find it
Oh I totally believe it - I tried to be really careful with what I chose, and mainly tried to avoid things like brushes and paints. I'll take a look at the Baohong paper soon, thanks!
They’re the same companies sending you the supplies as Aliexpress and Shein… the major difference atm that is booming its popularity is the no shipping fees
I haven’t experienced problems with items purchased form temu. Their returns are very generous neither money refunded and most of the time they give you the item anyway. !
I had no idea you could get art supplies on Temu - thanks so much for showing all of the nice goodies you got on there. Will definitely consider getting some materials when I next have to buy supplies :)
9:00 I have a similar pencil case from Amazon, about the same design except mine had a zip on the bottom and not on the other side, I think it was £3-5
I love Temu for the watercolor paper/ blocks and they have some decent paints also. The pencil cases ( first one you showed I use for my crochet hooks and stitch markers) I have stocked up on their Academy paper and some other brands to compare. Watercolor papers and paints etc… are not cheap so if I can find deals on any of them I grab what I need. I just placed another order to get another water brush bucket-
Hi Helen, Just subscribed. Don't typically watch "hauls" (perhaps it's just that word?), but this is my first video of yours and I found it fun and very helpful. I have a similar palette as your flip out one and have never used it. But now, after seeing how vibrant they are, I'm actually excited to use mine. Now, if I can only find it! Are you mainly a water color artist? I notice you got some new stamps. I, too, recently got a set with 5 packets, floral, mushrooms, vintage ladies (Which I really love), butterflies, and miscellaneous text, music, and vintage stamped ones. I'm happy with all of them. Then I also had gotten tickets (easy ephemera to put in my journals or collage) and find them to be nice small vintage editions to my paintings, collage, and tags. Anyway, I enjoyed your nice, calm talking voice, and yes, the things you bought as well. I am a junkie for different cases and love finding different types especially ones that are clear so I can see inside. I do that with many of my supplies already because I got so tired of having to unzip or open every case of mine just to find something. Too time consuming, huh. Happy painting and I look forward to more of your videos. XOXOJANE
Thank you Jane for your lovely message! I'm happy you're inspired to get your paints out! I'm just a hobby artist, and flit between different mediums, but this year I have been working on getting more confident, looser and faster with watercolours so that I can just enjoy them more. I've just been enjoying oil pastels too. I haven't used my stamps yet, but they're so pretty! Thanks again, Helen x
Thank you for an great video. I just ordered this morning some Baohong Academy and Artists pads from Temu. My first time using them so was pleased to see you received your order OK. Would you mind saying how long it took to arrive please.
Yes, I was actually very impressed with the whole system - good communication about delivery, and my two separate orders both took 9 days, which was at the quicker end of the delivery estimate.
How exciting! What's better than a big bag of stuff? Two big bags of stuff! 😂 I love that little wooden palette, so cute. I won't buy any dupes as per your warning. Wow at those paints! 😮 Thank you!
It's sold in multiple places, with different sellers often going in and out of stock/changing prices, so just put watercolour palette in the search bar, and they'll pop up.
I love the pencil case. I got a case at Christmas for mine and now that my colored pencils are easier to see and access I find I use them a lot more. Have you noticed that with yours?
I appreciate that you avoided things that might be copies of other artist's designs; I know a lot of artists I know see their enamel pin and sticker designs showing up stolen on those types of sites. But it looks like a great source for supplies, and organization, and so on... I always need new ways to organize my countless art supplies, haha.
So far, I have had a pretty good experience with Temu. I wish the descriptions were more specific. But, in terms of quality, I have no complaints. I feel I’ve gotten more than I paid for, really.
I bought some items that weren't hard supplies from Temu a few months ago and what I got was very poor quality. Also they have been selling knock-offs of people's original work especially Kristy Rice. I've heard the paper seems to be legit though.
I have that fan paint pallet i bought it a few years ago because Lindsay (frugal crafter) reviewed it. You definitely need to swatch it , but the colours are lovely. I have the Baohong hot press from Temu (usually use cold press but heard it's a bit rough) and I like it. I also have this water bucket for many years on my desk and I like it, I don't use the palette. What a coincidence, my son graduated 3 years ago as a radiographer! those pens looked cute 😍
Sounds like I'm on the right track with my purchases then! I'll have to take a look at other paint set reviews. That's so funny about your son!! My daughter's absolutely loving it!
@@helencryer I learnt all my art here on TH-cam. Lindsay Wyerich (the Frugal Crafter) is very knowledgeable and Frank Clarke, the founder of 'Simply Painting' he sadly died recently, among many others. Oliver (my son) did his training at Exeter Uni, where did your daughter go? Fortunately there is such a shortage in their field that getting work has not been a problem x

Baohong is actually Meeden. Meeden are currently rebranding the BaoHong water colour papers to the Meeden name which will be easier to remember. I was initially adamant that I wasn’t going to buy anything from Temu…..but when I discovered that they sold the BaoHong water colour paper at this very reasonable price, I admit to giving in, and I did have to smile as I related so much to the same point 😂 The delivery to me here in the U.K. was only 7 days and was free of charge.
Hello from California! I know I’m late to this party. I have actually wrote a message here, on the day you posted this video, but something happened and my comment fell through the chairs. Anyway, regarding the 100% cotton Baohong watercolor paper: have you tried Jackson’s Art Supplies in England? Of course it would not be cheaper than Temu, but Jackson’s have sales all the time, on different supplies, that are worth a look. Great video, thank you for sharing your goodies with us.
Thanks for the suggestion! They do stock it, but it is a lot more expensive and often out of stock. Good idea to check when they're having a sale though!
I am a mixed media artist and work in a lot of different mediums. I have not been disappointed in anything I have bought from Temu. I've bought stickers and paper, markers and tools and have been impressed with the quality for the price! My one gripe is once I start looking, I end up spending more than I wanted!😂
Only to the website itself (with a discount code in the description), because multiple sellers sell the same products but the prices change a lot, so it's best if you just search bar what you're after, and look for the best price.
Thank you. Just put in a small order. The Baohong professional paper and some biros. I’m now officially Ona no buy art supplies for the rest of the year😊😊😊
This has got to be the most exciting site ever, everything is so cheap, you can go mad, as soon as I finish one order, I start my basket for the next, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰

I took careful consideration into it what i realy need , nothing needed to to be throm away. I set my 50 € goal and what i got was totaly ok. A few Household helpers where also in it. But its the one order, i never would buy fashion or stuff produced for the trash
blessed! am witing for my first order to arrive. On thing is a holder my colored pencils. Not as many holders as the one you got. Wish I ha seen hat one. I have several hundred but ots of dupicates.
I just got the same wooden palette from AliExpress and the mixing space fell off just like yours 😅 but I easily glued it back and I love the palette so much! Even though I didn't use it yet in an actual painting just played with it a bit 😂 And the huge blue pencil case looks so nice! Definitely will get one of those someday 😊
@@helencryer so true 😂 also I wanted to let you know about the wooden palette, I tried to glue the fallen parts with a craft glue and it worked fine but because the mixing part is a bit smaller than the mixing area water kept seeping through until the glue came loose, so I'll try gluing it with a super glue something that can handle water 👌🏼
Hello, and thank you. I have a tip regarding the pencil case. Remove the wrist strap. Use the clip on the wrist strap to gather the ring ends of the finger tabs of all of the zippers. You can then zip and unzip all tabs at one time. Best wishes to you and yours.
The only problem I have and heard of it is most of the supplies they have is a scam, half of them won’t be what they are described to be, while also if you download the app your information and data gets stolen and sold, I mean I would be more than glad to buy from temu or even wish they had a store here in America but, yeah your credit card information gets stolen and hack, it’s like 50/50 chance of you getting what you want and them getting everything from you
I'm not doing links, sorry. Several sellers on Temu sell the same products, but the prices are always varying, or they go in and out of stock. Their search engine is reasonable, though for the Baohong paper, just put watercolor paper, not the name.
Good question! Hot pressed paper is much smoother, with very little tooth to the surface, and tends to be less absorbent - best for fine detailed work. Cold pressed has little pits and more texture - it kind of adds more character to watercolour paintings.
I know I am late to the party, but this video came into my feed and my curiosity got the better of me. I always struggle with hauls like this. The plastic, in plastic, in plastic always gets to me. And we all know that when we buy from places like Temu (and many, many other companies like it) the people that actually make the products are definitely not being paid a living wage and often have to work in really unhealthy circumstances. But then I wonder if other products we buy from more expensive stores aren't made in the exact same way, but repackaged to make them look more expensive.. I do try to look for fairtrade or European made products. But for a lot of things that is really difficult to find 🤷♀️ So now I (try to) not buy the cute little something-or-other anymore, because I honestly already have enough stuff, and I don't want to lay awake in bed feeling guilty anymore. But the more you think about the whole subject (where things come from/how they are made) the more complicated it gets. And you just end up with a big headache.. So, enjoy your haul! I think that is the best we can do. Get what we really need and actually USE it! ❤
I hear you, and do appreciate your comment. This year I'm working along the same lines, and I haven't bought any art supplies yet (though I'm sure I will do at some point, but definitely much less). I'm doing a 'one year on' follow up video for each of my art hauls from last year instead, to see how I actually ended up using/liking things.
@@helencryer It's so difficult isn't it? There is so much out there and I don't think we should stop doing the things we love, we all need a creative outlet. But I wish we'd have more transparent, and better, options. And in a weird way I think Temu is being transparent, I mean, nobody expects the best (quality) for 79p, or a real brand-something-or-other for a single Pound. I don't know, I'm just thinking aloud..
Haven’t watched yet, I ordered a bunch of silicon stamps for junk journals… spent $100, so I’m hoping you will have some good things to say. The stamps were so CHEAP!😃
This company, Temu, has had some ethical and customer service issues. They import, using a loophole in our customs laws that allows for avoidance of duties. They also may still be violating the provisions our government has put in place to put pressure on the Chinese government to stop the forced Uyghur labor.
The prices varied so often and so much, I thought it best not to include them. Some people then get cross because they can't get them for the same price!
I like the wooden palette, but it is a poor dupe. The original handmade go draw palettes are well made with strong magnets. They are a lot more expensive though.
I don’t have any arty friends, but I love the idea of making tiny gift palettes…they are really cute!
I'm excited to go through my tubes and select some favourites, and make teeny swatch charts!

Sorry about that! Glad you agree!
You just got onother follower just because you voice is so calming ❤
So nice of you - thank you!!
I love all the pallets.. I never thought to look for those on Temu, I will now tho.
Especially the wood one and little tins..for my purse and grandkids
Hi Helen,
Really great Temu unboxing - I’ve been curious about it but after having a quick look I didn’t bother with it but im enjoying seeing the art supplies you found - you got a good price for the Marie’s water brush pot. 👍
I'd seen the ads but ignored them. A friend bought something from them though, then it got me wondering about watercolour paper on there!
Oh, interesting! I'm on holiday without it at the moment, so will experiment when I get back - thanks!
I didn’t expect to enjoy this video as much as I did, It just popped cause I recently made my first purchase in Temu, a few art supplies. Hopefully everything comes good ✨🌸
Thanks!
@@helencryer yeah mine I ended up binning within the first week of purchase whereas my authentic Lamy is as good as new 5 months on 🌸
That's cool. I'm sorry y'all had a bad experience. I purchased a 599 many many many years ago and it's still going strong. I wonder if they changed them, but I don't wonder enough to buy another one lol.
Sounds like a case of you get what you pay for, for some.
@@phillipstroll7385 I just need to not 'get into' fountain pens in any serious way! They're too beautiful and expensive and (I'm sure) addictive!!!
Great haul for you 👍🏻
Have fun with your haul ❤️✝️🙏🏻
I was thinking I might tie a pretty ribbon round it! Yes, I think you have to be pretty selective on there.
Thanks!
@@helencryer , a ribbon is a great idea
I have become addicted to just the art supplies from Temu. I have about three days a week something arrives. Currently working on a collection of watercolor pallettes
😯 Wow! Can't think of a better collection to work on though!!
Any products you'd particularly recommend?
Yes, I've really enjoyed using my ceramic palette!
Thank you!!
I have purchased cutting dies, stamps, and embossing folders from Temu and am happy with the product.
I have both of those little baohong blocks too! I haven’t got the chance to use them yet but I hope they’ll be good 🤞🏻
I have the cold press block and I really like it. Very worth the money I spent on it.
That's great to hear, thanks!
Those mini pallets are gorgeous! Such a great gift idea.
Cute, aren't they?!
I like the pastel colors of those pens, bags and fountain pen , such cute haul. I hope Temu will delivery to Europe someday.
Yes, they're so cute! I didn't realise they don't deliver to the rest of Europe!
@@helencryer Only to 5 countries of Europe, I'm in Switzerland, it's difficult to get supplies over here.
Ahh, that's a shame!
Hi@@helencryer, good news ! A have a friend which boyfriend lives in France and she gave me he's address to ship my Temu orders ! I'm so grateful, just wanted to share it with you. Thanks for all the inspirations. 💖
That's lovely! Nice friends!
Thanks!
I haven’t experienced problems with items purchased form temu. Their returns are very generous neither money refunded and most of the time they give you the item anyway. !
@@swl9270That's good to hear, thanks!
Hi Helen... yeah, all of those fan out strip watercolors are always highly pigmented. Whichever brand. Nice haul. 😊
That's interesting to know, thanks!
I had no idea you could get art supplies on Temu - thanks so much for showing all of the nice goodies you got on there. Will definitely consider getting some materials when I next have to buy supplies :)
I think if you pick carefully, there are some decent products on there!
9:00 I have a similar pencil case from Amazon, about the same design except mine had a zip on the bottom and not on the other side, I think it was £3-5
You can find lots of the same items on both Amazon and Temu.
I’ve been wondering about Temu. Thanks for the info!
I just placed another order to get another water brush bucket-
HOw are those highlighters for ghosting and bleeding through on the other side of the page?
They didn't do either in the Art Creations Sketchbook I used, but I haven't tested them on other papers
Then I also had gotten tickets (easy ephemera to put in my journals or collage) and find them to be nice small
vintage editions to my paintings, collage, and tags.
Thanks very much Helen for your reviews, it was really interesting ❤️🇨🇦
Thanks so much!
Those watercolors are amazing!
@@helencryer Thank you so much for replying. Very much appreciated!
How exciting! What's better than a big bag of stuff? Two big bags of stuff! 😂 I love that little wooden palette, so cute. I won't buy any dupes as per your warning. Wow at those paints! 😮 Thank you!
It's your fault for telling me about them!!
@@helencryer 🤣🤣🤣
Hi, great haul. Can I ask for the link of the tiny watercolor containers? Love them!
Yes, I'm loving them in a case! So much so, that I'm gradually converting all my pencil sets into cases!
Love your 12 pencil folder i got 1 like it off Amazon £22
Was wondering what this site is like. Thank You Very Much For Sharing
I think if you pick relatively carefully, there are plenty of good things on it. The shipping and keeping you informed seem to be very good.
I got that paint water bucket as a gift from my aunt, I adore it for my gouache works!
I use mine all the time - it's great!
Thanks for the heads up on that too.
Really loved this video. Very helpful. I am from US. I want to try Temu just for art supplies. I really want the watercolor paper!! Thanks!!
I think the cold pressed is better than the hot pressed now having used them both a fair bit, if that's any help!
So far, I have had a pretty good experience with Temu. I wish the descriptions were more specific. But, in terms of quality, I have no complaints. I feel I’ve gotten more than I paid for, really.
Yep, I agree!
I found their Baohang paper to be excellent
I bought some items that weren't hard supplies from Temu a few months ago and what I got was very poor quality. Also they have been selling knock-offs of people's original work especially Kristy Rice. I've heard the paper seems to be legit though.
That's such a shame. Yes, need to careful with your choices
@@juliebromfield1865 Yes TH-cam has been my only teacher too, plus books!
My daughter trained at Sheffield, and had a couple of job offers straight out of uni, including the one she really wanted, so it's been great!
Omg! We have the same pencil cases. I have all of them except for the large sky blue one 😁 we have the same taste hehehe
Ahaha! Brilliant!!
Baohong is actually Meeden.
Meeden are currently rebranding the BaoHong water colour papers to the Meeden name which will be easier to remember.
I was initially adamant that I wasn’t going to buy anything from Temu…..but when I discovered that they sold the BaoHong water colour paper at this very reasonable price, I admit to giving in, and I did have to smile as I related so much to the same point 😂
The delivery to me here in the U.K. was only 7 days and was free of charge.
Ahh, I didn't know that - thank you!
this are hauls i do like so much . thank you ! :D
Great video. Nice haul
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing. Some of tgese could make a good arty Christmas stocking gift 😊
I use the blue expanding pencil case as a travel toilet beg…..holds heaps of 😊 plus I use one as a travel art set
Good idea!
I am a mixed media artist and work in a lot of different mediums. I have not been disappointed in anything I have bought from Temu.
I've bought stickers and paper, markers and tools and have been impressed with the quality for the price!
My one gripe is once I start looking, I end up spending more than I wanted!😂
I love it, do you have links?
Only to the website itself (with a discount code in the description), because multiple sellers sell the same products but the prices change a lot, so it's best if you just search bar what you're after, and look for the best price.
The paints you swatched are really nice do you have a link to those paints?
I don't, sorry - I no longer have the Temu app. If you Google 'Watercolour Paint Fan Set' though, it should come up.
Really interesting haul. I was wondering how much the postage and packing was for these
it's normally free
Thank you. Just put in a small order. The Baohong professional paper and some biros. I’m now officially Ona no buy art supplies for the rest of the year😊😊😊
@@silkspinner7010 good luck with that! It's only May 🤣
I’ll need good luck. 😊
Yes, I didn't pay P&P both times.
Good luck with the no spend!!
This has got to be the most exciting site ever, everything is so cheap, you can go mad, as soon as I finish one order, I start my basket for the next, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰
And have you found any gems in the art materials department?!
I also have ordered once at Temu , but mostly stuff i need i daily. I try to avoid waste and got stuff i wonst have like Color palettes with silicone lid, Plastic Mash Bags, a Bookbinding Set with needles and hole punsh set ( extremly useful) , a wonderful cotton pencil roll ( no smell ,cheap and pretty good quality) , baking paper for Air fryer and rack that fits into my cosori xl, withe Gel pens , Rice paper ( was a bit meh , i use it for crafting). I took careful consideration into it what i realy need , nothing needed to to be throm away. I set my 50 € goal and what i got was totaly ok. A few Household helpers where also in it. But its the one order, i never would buy fashion or stuff produced for the trash
Sounds sensible!
Where do you find watercolors that will go in the little tins?
Just squeeze some out from watercolour tubes.
Thank you for the video, very interestinf. I cant’t find the ceramic paletr in temu. Can you please give me the link??
I'm really sorry, I no longer havd the Temu app!
blessed! am witing for my first order to arrive. On thing is a holder my colored pencils. Not as many holders as the one you got. Wish I ha seen hat one. I have several hundred but ots of dupicates.
That sounds like quite a pencil collection!!
I just got the same wooden palette from AliExpress and the mixing space fell off just like yours 😅 but I easily glued it back and I love the palette so much! Even though I didn't use it yet in an actual painting just played with it a bit 😂
And the huge blue pencil case looks so nice! Definitely will get one of those someday 😊
We don't need to use them in order to love them, right?! I'm looking forward very much to filling mine soon, and just 'having' it!
Oh, thank you! Funnily enough I glued mine back in yesterday with super glue, so 🤞🤞
Just came across this channel, love the content! :)
Thanks ever so much!
Hello, and thank you. I have a tip regarding the pencil case. Remove the wrist strap. Use the clip on the wrist strap to gather the ring ends of the finger tabs of all of the zippers. You can then zip and unzip all tabs at one time. Best wishes to you and yours.
Hello! I like this - will do so, thank you!!
Now I want to buy stuff from Temu!
Sorry about that!!
@@helencryer Don’t be sorry thank you for sharing ! I love how your share your experience 😀
The only problem I have and heard of it is most of the supplies they have is a scam, half of them won’t be what they are described to be, while also if you download the app your information and data gets stolen and sold, I mean I would be more than glad to buy from temu or even wish they had a store here in America but, yeah your credit card information gets stolen and hack, it’s like 50/50 chance of you getting what you want and them getting everything from you
Thanks for your warning! Though in my experience everything arrived as described.
That little case xi put in my charger for whatever I'm taking with me. It protects it good. Then I put a note in the pocket for what it's for
Good idea!
Great finds could you link the items
I'm not doing links, sorry. Several sellers on Temu sell the same products, but the prices are always varying, or they go in and out of stock. Their search engine is reasonable, though for the Baohong paper, just put watercolor paper, not the name.
Yes, very interesting. Thank you
Thanks
What is the different between the hot press and the cold press . First time I here coton paper….
Good question! Hot pressed paper is much smoother, with very little tooth to the surface, and tends to be less absorbent - best for fine detailed work. Cold pressed has little pits and more texture - it kind of adds more character to watercolour paintings.
Please can you link to the exact folder pencil organiser. I cant find it online
I'm afraid I no longer have the Temu app, to find a link.
But for a lot of things that is really difficult to find 🤷♀️
So now I (try to) not buy the cute little something-or-other anymore, because I honestly already have enough stuff, and I don't want to lay awake in bed feeling guilty anymore.
I don't know, I'm just thinking aloud..
ps TEMU is an addiction for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
STEP AWAY FROM THE ORANGE APP!!!!
What's the difference between compress and hot press?
Cold Pressed watercolour paper is more bumpy in texture, and hot pressed is smoother, because it's been passed through hot rollers.
Wow you got some bargains! fab video once again. x
Thank you!!
Don't forget to wax your zippers using a white candle, etc. for ease in movement.
Oo - I've not done this before! Thanks for the tip!
Haven’t watched yet, I ordered a bunch of silicon stamps for junk journals… spent $100, so I’m hoping you will have some good things to say. The stamps were so CHEAP!😃
I hope you enjoy them! I haven't bought any stamps, but all I'd be mindful of is whether they are rip-off designs of other companies'.

Yes, I think you're right! I'm starting to pay more attention to where things are made now.
This company, Temu, has had some ethical and customer service issues. They import, using a loophole in our customs laws that allows for avoidance of duties. They also may still be violating the provisions our government has put in place to put pressure on the Chinese government to stop the forced Uyghur labor.
Thank you.
thank you for bringing this up. It should be the top comment.
I ordered already 3 times from TEMU, I like their products and the price of course. My 4th order is already in progress.....LOL
Haha! I have to admit, there may be a couple of things waiting in my basket too!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!
Liked the vlog, but mentioning of the exact prices would be helpfull.
The prices varied so often and so much, I thought it best not to include them. Some people then get cross because they can't get them for the same price!
😊 awesome video
Wait, they have hot press watercolor paper? I'm in the States, and there is NOWHERE to get hot press here.Temu time for me!
Yes, there's hot press. Really, though?! Why is that? You can order from Jackson's Art with decent shipping though, too.
I like the wooden palette, but it is a poor dupe. The original handmade go draw palettes are well made with strong magnets. They are a lot more expensive though.
I hadn't heard of those before - thank you!
