I'm looking at getting ones of these CVA Cascades LRH in 300 win mag...would you recommend an Arken 6x24 scope for her? It will be used for mule deer and elk in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
Missed the premier, was fixing then eating deer backstrap fajitas😋😋😋. Gotta get, at least, another 🦌 this upcoming season. Going out to do some trimming tomorrow, weeds are as high as the deer's ears + got a hog rooting around. Nice rig you got there. If you come to where I hunt, you won't need all the zoomies, but that PRC could still nail a 🦌, 🐗, or 🐺.
Nice one! I jumped out of my car on the way to work this week and caught a piggy by the back leg! I sh!t you not. Very tasty, especially with the apple wine I just bottled.
HOW could you not like THAT rig?? Why would anybody pay thousands more to try and duplicate performance like that, and probably not do it? Hats off to Steve for his ammo!
Been subscribed for awhile Adam. Good to see others have the firearm addiction as myself. I was gonna get the cascade but ended up with a JP Sauer. Don't comment much because i watch ya on the TV. But keep up the awesome videos.
I've been waiting for this video to drop for months. Ive wanted one of those guns since I heard about it! Now I want it even more now lol thanks for the video!
Going to pick the wife and kids up one in 243 and probably get the 22-250 vh model for myself should see if you can do a video on the seems like those would be pretty sweet ones to have!
Hahaha you got that right! Two weirdos here in queen creek, AZ have them, I give them that good ole 6.2 Silverado rumble when I’m beside them. Can’t wait to retire and move back home with my family in the country of North Carolina, city people are weird
I bought a vortex scope payed double what an arken cost and they are obviously both nice but I’m so glad you checked out arken they are hands down some of the best out there and for how much they cost I would say they are the best by far they are insanely good
Hi to all. Being an official "OF", I have a lot of scoped rifles. Every brand from Barska to Sightron SIIIs and a top of the line Leupold on a Barrett M107A1 50 BMG, and a lot of Vortex. I recently started down the 22lr 'rabbit hole' and have purchased some nice precision rifles, Tikka, CZ, etc. Most wear Arken optics. I have 5 EP-5s an SH-4J an older SH4. Although I enjoy shooting my bench guns with the Vortex 6.5-20X50 mm scopes. They are not even close to my Arkens. Two other budget scopes that punch WAY above their $ are: CV 5-25X56 34mm tube and Discovery PRS scopes of the same specs. I got them from Amazon and to be honest, I believe they (Arken, CV, Discovery) are all made by the same Chinese OEM. I have MANY of both of these and they are flat awesome. Check out the reviews on Amazon. The CV in particular, is a 'steal' at $199. I have several in their boxes for future use!! Everyone talks about what a great warranty Vortex has. That's correct, and you're GONNA need it! Stay Salty.
I love my CVA Cascade, it’s by far my most accurate and smoothest rifle I own. I’ll have to go and check out one of those long range hunter models. Just need to figure out what caliber to go with?
sounds like you have cicadas... we have none here in Bulls Gap.(hawkins county) Your rifle shoots great for factory ammo (or reloads for that matter!).. i didn't know these rifles existed until i saw your video a few days ago.,, now i've got one on my list...It should be a real deer flopper! Not many rifles shoot as well as that one,, It is one to hand down to your progeny.. hang on to it.
Nice looking rifle. I can hear the cicadas in the background. I have the 6.5 prc and I love it. Been using it for woodchucks in the soybean fields this spring. It does extremely well because it shoots fast and flat.
I'd like to see a comparison between your 6.5 prc and 2 or 3 other close caliber rifles firing same weight projectiles. Accuracy, power, good, bad etc. Might be an eye opener for a new shooter looking for a first rifle or even an older know it all...🤔.
I have three 6.5CM’s but now thanks to you and this video I will be adding a new 6.5 PRC and an Arken scope. Thanks for an extraordinary video that got me pumped up.
Great video again! It just proves that Bergara barrels are very good. Just wondering why you picked up another 6.5 PRC. Seeing as you already had a great shooting one. Was it because you absolutely love the 6.5 PRC or was it the only one available? Cheers
@@WHOTEEWHO thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I am trying to decide between the 6.5 PRC or the 6.5 weatherby RPM. Really looking like the PRC is my next project. Keep the videos coming. Cheers
I just sent for this lot slinger in a 6.5prc...i hope it can tik all the big game/send em' boxes, great vid. Thanks for putting out there. Ive seen stats on this that says it weighs 7.4 and 8.4 lbs, which weight are you seeing yours at?
Question, what torque spec do you use for Rail, putting the rings on the rail and torque your rings on the scope? The reason that I ask is I see people have torqued there rings to the rail too tight and broke the bolt or crack the lip that holds the rings to the base. I have read that on Amazon reviews. Please help? I may end up buying vortex pro rings instead! Thanks! Love your videos
Nice. Might need to trade in a bing bang or 2 to get one of those. It looked and sounded like it fed super smooth. Running a 25PRC bench gun right now, so have the dies. Lots of 6.5 bullets and lapua brass, too. Broke some ribs and have a rotator cuff tear, so will sell my never fired tc compass 338 WM. Have a new winchester 1886 45-70 too that won’t fly with my shoulder.
Hey brother Brad here... Feel like doing a video on the 1873 cattleman black powder version? Fpe fps plus penetration test? There's nothing anywhere out there on that revolver? Does it have power? Lethality? Please do one whoteewho!!!!!!!!
g*dd*mn, I might have to pick me up one of these. Pretty awesome! You should tell us more (or maybe you have, I'm new to the channel) about that scope. Looks like a great price and if it's good like you say it is....
That's tough. The savage will shoot good, but the cva will have a better trigger, better finish, threaded barrel, and camo. If all you care about is shooting good, then get the savage. If you want the fancier things get thr cva
25% OFF Arken Optics code: whoteewho
WhoteeWho, You never mentioned which store is offering for Arken 25% discount.
Planning on the same rifle/scope setup in a 300 PRC and this video just sold me. I'll use the code!

@@WHOTEEWHO is that discount ordering through Arken?
The accuracy and smooth action make it seem like a solid choice for any serious hunter.
Yep and I'm a solid Tikka fan
Bergara barrel and action.
Modern rifles and ammo are just ridiculous.
Off the shelf sub-1/4 moa groups.
It wasn't too long ago that something like this wasn't even possible.
I recently scored a Cascade VH. It's a tack driver also. Have two of the original Cascades, am very impressed with the products.

Glad to see you put an Arken scope. Pure money with that setup. Amazing groupings.
Really good .
Very good for a factory rifle and ammo
I’ve been waiting for one of these. I will be buying one tomorrow. Thanks for the review whoTeewho
You came a long way from that old cable roll table shaky sleds to this table and this good sled. Nice shooting keep it going.
Looking forward to seeing more range sessions and your thoughts on its long-term performance.
Nicely done! Arken is the cats meow! Love them and I'll only buy Arken now. I have 3 now and I'm headed for the lpvo next.
Brother. That unit will be deadly 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Looking to do the setup but in 243 Winchester.... now after watching this, it's mola out of the bank!!! GJ!

That group was VERY satisfying to watch lol. Thinking of getting the black one in 6.5 creed and you may have just sealed the deal for me.

My guess is that it's happening less and less.
Sometimes though you want something that you can't buy off the shelf.
