Hey brother, you know I am no expert or professional but love all aspects of automotive paints and try to learn what and why different automotive finishes are developed. So I guess what I am asking is this an attempt of making a better alternative to wrapping a car? Wrapping a car which seems labor intensive and seems that you have to be very well trained to do a quality job. In your opinion is this an easier option to wrapping from the person doing it or is it a less expensive alternative to painting and being able to do wild colors that if you were painting it traditionally would cost a fortune? The color is not my style but I definitely can appreciate the way it changes colors. Excellent results 👍
@@MrWill73Thanks! I think the only advantage that a traditional wrap has over a spray wrap is that the vinyl wraps can have pretty much any design printed into them. Other than that, a spray wrap is better in every way. The guy that owns this car took it to a wrap shop and was told they wouldn't be able to warranty any of the work because of all the contours on the hood and front bumper, and they refused to wrap the rear wing. They also said it would take a week. He dropped the car off at my shop on Saturday night, everything was done without a hitch, and it was ready to pick up on Monday morning. A spray wrap like this only costs 3k, where a full paint job would be 10k or more and would take at least a couple weeks. A spray wrap is a perfect alternative for someone that wants a cool looking car very quickly and cheaply.
Great job it’s so pretty
