I went to fisht at Fairview campground on Labor Day Monday. I only caught a few stockers and one wild. Water is still high and fast. Which nearest campground at sec 5 did you fish?

Yes, I fished Fairview CG too, just above CG. Also fished above Camp 3 in the movie.

Omg finally someone knows how to release a damn fish. Dude that release absolutely beautifully perfect. You kept it in the water as much as possible.
I'm new and looking to fish this river, which side of the river is more likely to have trout? Not looking for spots, just to know where the Trout actually are so I have an idea of where to start looking.
Also what are the regulations? I come from barbed hook allowed land, so I dunno much about the regs yet, gonna get a pamphlet before I go ofc but specific regulations get confusing

Never thought of using my bait caster and a lure. I'd worry about snagging rocks with my lure. Do you only use top water lures?
