Record-Breaking Heat Decimates Phoenix’s Homeless

We talked to Dave in Phoenix, Arizona during a record-breaking summer heat wave. He is homeless, but has avoid living in encampments like "The Zone" throughout the entire 10 years he has been homeless. Dave talks about how every summer in Phoenix, around 300 homeless people are not able to make it through due to the heat, and suffer the worst of consequences.
Dave goes on to discuss the programs that are offered in Phoenix, and what he thinks the city can improve upon with what they currently have in place.
Unfortunately, every year Phoenix sees many suffer from heat exhaustion to some extent, but according to Dave, the city doesn't seem to have an answer to how it is affecting the homeless population.
