I am at home again from pots and pans as a kid to a life of living in the engine room of jazz groups the studio jams are a step back into dreams, I am recording them all . Thanks guys
"I think we can hip hop it a little bit"...they did, and the results were amazing. Great job by all. Agree, that flute solo, and accompaning groove were tremendous. I was seriously into the bass solo as well when the video ended. The vibes too...man, I do not get how anyone can play that instrument, but it sounded so cool.
Wow. Wow. Wow. I must have been living under a rock. What great artists. The flute solo just killed me. I've never heard anything like it. All of them, so great, so talented. I just LOVE IT!!!!!

It was so sick when the bassist started playing the So What bass line, it was so funky, and the flute brought out a really interesting side to this tune.
Always great Althea; super nice and this coming from a jazz flute player. All excellent players ! And no one ever mentions the fine work of the sound man on these jams. Cool sound effects on the flute here.
Right on the button smooth, handsome pros. Flutist is real hot musically + easy to look at! Bassist is great. Impressive personality as well, independent of talent. They all stand out in the studio setting as A-lineup performers. All 4 thumbs up. 👌🏻 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great funky performance, really interesting to hear vibrafon and flute. Since Herbie Man (and Ian Anderson of course) you don´t hear so much flute any more. thanks for loading
I think it's now the time to re upload the complete performance of this tune and other videos from this session. Still is my favorite Studio Jam video...

All great musicians. At the end of Miles career when he played the red trumpet he would be digging this arrangement. I like it best the original way with Paul Chambers, and friends
ok so what the heck with that badass flute player. the way she started that solo, staccato style was off the charts creative and cool .
Yeah, this was laid out! Great vibe, flute, and bass rides! Nice.
