地球環境を考えたことで、名作スタンスミスはエコレザーと
呼ばれるようなリサイクル素材で作られていた。
個人的に洋服やバッグなどはリサイクル素材でも気にならないが
やはり体重がかかり足の形に合っていくためには
リアルレザーの伸縮性と素材感が大事だなと思っていた。
2022年の年末からスタンスミスはリアルレザーのものが復活し始め
特別モデルではなくインラインモデルでもリリースされた。

When I started paying attention to Adidas last year,
the earth's environment, the famous Stan Smiths were made of eco-friendly
leather and recycled material, as they call it.
Personally, I don't mind recycled materials for clothes and bags,
However, in order to fit the shape of the foot under the weight of the wearer,
it is important to use a material that is made of real leather.

Thanks for the comment, not that LUX is hard, but it is a much softer leather than Superstar or something like that. It's a wonder!

i have a question for anyone knowledgeable on leather, is the lux a significant quality difference? i can’t tell and i have a pair in hand also is there any model that uses calf skin like the balenciaga pair?
The quality of the leather is different from that of LUX, but at this point, it may be at a level where I cannot yet decide which is better. There is also an unusual model similar to the Stan Smiths that will be released in the future by Balenciaga, the GW1996...but I can't say for sure. The calf leather ones may not be cost effective in this day and age.
Real leather will always be superior to synthetics and recycled materials. Recycled polyester is a trick used by companies in order to get richer. They couldn't care less for the environment. If so then the new shoes with recycled materials should have been way cheaper than the previous ones. Also they wouldn't realize a more premium version with real leather alltogeher with a pricier tag.
Thanks for your comment. Personally, I think genuine leather is still superior as it conforms to the shape of the foot in the shoe. The idea of not wasting things is important, but manufacturing is ultimately a contradiction in terms.
@@tumbleweed6906 We can recycle and use again almost anything. But it's not good for the skin to use plastic and other synthetic materials.
