Sin vs Virtue

.........the warden hurriedly changed her approach and we all muttered jovialities before driving our separate ways. Her ‘Down’ for that day was to be caught denigrating something and someone because of her preconceived notion of what is virtuous and what constitutes a vice. However, I too had a ‘Down’. Mine was to succumb to the temptation to expose someone else’s failings.
