Top 2 thing y’all need to add to your game: - Inner Sphere Omnis (yes they’re canon) - The freakin Fire Moth/Dasher like c’mon it’s the ONLY Invasion Omni not in yet and it has so much to add
Next, can you please add a 'overide' toggle that will permanently (and automatically) turn on your mechs' overide function? It's become standard where someone on the team will remind the rest of us to turn on overide before match start. This shouldn't be necessary..
So would previously purchased skill nodes not being used in your current tree be considered orphaned as well? I have quite a few mechs with well over 91 skills nodes invested for multiple builds.
I think what he means is nodes that are cut off from the other nodes. So like heat exhaust node 5, but you don't have the nodes before it. At least that's my guess.
Fix players balance first and crashes at the game start! Yesterday I played for me every game was on average 3-5 kills, the maximum was 7 kills per game, average 600-700 damage. And I just finished developing the skill tree on this new mech for me. Today I play on the same mech and constantly at the team of vegetables that do not damage the enemy at all, they scatter around the map, I manage to kill 1-2 opponents at most per game, constantly losing with a score of 1:12 - 4:12. The game crashes at startup stably 2-3 times per hour, sometimes more often. Crashes occur with a probability of 50-70% if a browser window with a TH-cam page is open on the second monitor, if the browser is minimized, then crashes are much less common. Anti-aliasing also affects, the more anti-aliasing, the more crashes. This is stable on all AMD graphics cards. I changed the rest of the platform, from AM3+ to Intel 11 generation, the game runs much faster, but crashes still occur.
Crashes have plagued the game a long time. Unfortunately they've never been able to universally address these issues. Personally I've experienced very few crashes. But it does happen. As for bad players and bad games. That's just online play. Even the best matchmakers can't account for people being bad at times. It's not hard to coast to the top off the backs of others. Then get placed against some real competition and be expected to actually pull their weight. It just happens.
@@tomservo3501 This is called shit balance and nerf mechs, when each individual player does not decide anything in the game and the players are more at war with their mech than with the enemy. It's just chaos and mech grinder.
@@Rawsilver Their game creates a report every crash, but it's not going anywhere, it's their problem that they have bad programmers. There is a strict pattern in the game that after a couple of good games, 1-2 wins, there are many losses. there are not many victories 10-15 in a row. And it's boring to play the same mech every time with which you deal a lot of damage to win.
It's nice to know that completely rebuilding a skill tree and releasing new mechs is more important than a promised Code of Conduct update. Appears that somethings never change. cash grabs are all you're after.
This crap is why i no longer play MWO. Skill trees. You are your skill tree. Mechs should not be modifiers. They feel like cheats and help alongs. Two exact mechs going head to head should only have the skill of the humans not custom trees to soften knock over blows or grant extra % to cool. I've been playing battletech since 1986 through several iterations. If i want a skill tree I would go back to world of warcraft.
I audibly shouted "YES" when he showed you can simply click on the bottom of the tree to select all the nodes
Great update Matt. Clear, concise and to the point.
Looking forward to the update even more now 👍👍👍 - BrioS
incredibly excited for the 24th of May, glad that the this awesome game is still getting the support and love it deserves.

You're doing the Khan's work

Thanks, Matt. Changes look great. Question: do the existing skill "Export" files I have still work, or will I need to create new ones?
oh...right... Probably they will be broken
I have like 250 mechs that means I get 1250 gsp for free? Nais😎
Btw I really like the new login screen.
Optimization is going to be so fun!!!
Looking good, might have to take Spayce Farce out for some missle boating fun.

Sgt. Corpse of the Corpse Corps.
Looking forward for the tuesday!
Awesome update. Thank you very much!
Great! I offered this skilltree from the start.
This is an awesome update!
Event queue... stats...consider how to save stats for each event.

Will you be able to buy the Crusader without paying?
such great skill tree rework, only sad that game now far from it popularity peak, probably because such great updates somewhat late
Are elite and master skills still a thing?
What exactly is an ORPHAN Skill node?
I would assume a node that is purchased but not active.
You could own the last node in the tree, and no others making that skill point wasted.
@@Kerensky234 That's kind of them...
Could you please increase the skills to 105?

"Sometimes maybe good. Sometimes maybe shit." that's online gaming.

But have you removed MG’s from the game?

All those changes wont help you don't know how to make a game.
