    Maybe you should make the straight blank longer and cut it to proper length after a successful bend is made
    In that way you could cut the cracked part off and still have a long enough piece of wood out of witch to shape a new handle!

    Thanks for the video. Our landfills would be way less full if we were educating and training our youth to be craftsman instead of doing everything quick, easy and fast.
