I have an issue, after I got Chara Studio it was working fine, I downloaded many cards and mods. But after my last few downloads, the controls started acting funny. Before F11, would take pictures, now it makes the camera go down, or up. And on Kinematics, usually white balls appear so you can click to adjust the joints, but they are gone. It's weird but a couple features are now missing, do you know anywhere I can get answers?

So how come when I click on a limb, some limbs will not allow me to use the rotation? Like it only lets me select the placement tool, if I click "E" on the keyboard, it just deselects the body part.
I'm so confused. This may sound weird but it will really help me if u can answer. At 6:00 you move her elbow towards her chest and her chest actually gets into contact with her arm, making it move. Whenever I, for example, try to move an arm it clips right through the body, but it didn't do that for you. How do I make it so that it doesn't just clip right through?
Hello! I am trying to upgrade the BetterPen in story mode. I saw that you can change the node constraints to a better physics. The problem is I don't seem to see the change reflecting in story mode. Is the Node Constraints only for Chara Studio?

Yeah if you press F1 in the Chara Maker you can see what shader you're using, then in the "scene effects" menu in Chara Studio you can change the shader there to be the same one.
Unrelated to the video, but I thought of asking this here because I can't post it on the subreddit (the mods autodelete it for some reason): I downloaded this one card, but found the character was too tall. I'm worried about making her shorter because I don't want to mess up her proportions (e.g. size of head compared to body). Is there a way I can scale the whole character? It would be too much hassle to have to change everything, and as I said, I don't want to ruin the proportions.
Open character creator, go to body editing (the second button at the top), pick general (the topmost button on the left), and the body scale slider is there at the bottom of the slider window

Little silliy question from a beginner. How do you desiable automatic blinking? I'm using the latest version of the CharaStudio and the characters spawn with automatic blinking. How do i disable it?
Sometimes when the game window is out of focus or focusing on a different in-game window it won't let you take a screenshot. I usually just click on the empty space in the workspace window and try F11 again.
I'd look into how to model in blender and start asking questions in the Koikatsu discord, specifically the mod-modelling channel. I also have a tutorial on my channel of how to import custom accessories.

And when creating characters myself I just focus too much on unimportant details like how many polygons some toe has or how to rig the leg properly... Probably doesn't work for non-human characters, though... I wonder if it's at least good enough to create humanoid characters like bird humans, amphibian humans or some humans with horns and plates as their skin.

I've seen some people do a scene where the character is in a certain pose but they can have the same scene but a different character in the same pose. Did they change the character and redo the pose or is it possible to swap the character without redoing the pose?

However when I save a character the image in the folder is always several kb and really low quality. Is there a way to create a really high quality/resolution character card?

NVM, I got it but there is so many technical aspects you need to know in order to make the program work. Do not bother with this. You need folders to be in a proper order in order to use it, need to delete files to make it work and so on. It is genuinelly better you learn blender than this awful software that doens't even have a workable UI without requiring you to be a PC / IT wiz.

You can go to "Anim" and it lets you rename it.

Yeah I'll be eventually making a video about that. Basically you need this plugin called VNGE which allows for keyframe animations.

Its kinda annoying whenever I switch to fk (white circles) I can't seem to find my way back to moving ik(the blue and red circles)

You might be able to do that if you keyframed her step by step. I've mostly stuck to animations that stay in place though.

Yeah if you search for hitomi that's the iris/pupil.

You may need to install HF patch, but yeah Chara Studio should be in the same folder as your Koikatsu executable.

Your window size? If you press F1 and search for "resolution" there is an option to change the studio's window size.
