Really? I always had the feeling I've been hearing it throughout the entire anime. Well, that's probably just because I've watched the ending so many times.
Lelouch is the most awsome anime person i have ever had the honor to see in action in end he had me crying and even after iv seen one piece bleach and naruto and duzens of anime this is still better then them all even attach on titan i will never for get him even on my death bed i will remember Lelouch VI Britannia!
I accidentally found out that Lelouch died when I was beginning to watch Code Geass, so I thought that by the time I reached the final episode I would be ready to face it, but I just couldn't hold my tears when I saw the complete scene and even now I continue crying when I remember everything. I find so unfair he had to sacrifice his own life so that the rest of the people could live happily. He even sacrificed his "fame", and offered it to the people who would remember him as the "Demon Emperor". As all of you, I had never cried with an anime end, but it was too emotionnal and sad for me.
Yup that stupid watchmojo.com put the ending of Code Geass and Death Note in their top 10 anime video, Not even a single spoiler alert, but i still cried harder than I ever have when that last episode came so its all good XD
the thing that had me crying was when her sister find out and started crying and yelling bc she knew that her brother went through everything and died just for her,her voice was so heartbreaking (atleast in japonese)
15 years. Thank you for keeping this up. This is a beautiful historical artifact. For those that saw it then, code Geass was not just another anime, it was an Epic, an epic a great hero unlike any seen before or since, who sacrificed himself for the world, a gentler world, for the ones he loved.
For those of you who have never seen it, the english dub of Code Geass is actually really good. In my opinion, it's the best dub ever. Someday soon, I will rewatch Code Geass in Japanese subs, but you guys should really watch in English. Lelouchs' voice actor is my favorite voice actor.
Tres cosas de este video: que me mata con tantos sentimientos que desata. Que Code Geass fue un anime que disfruté como pocos. Que Zero/Lulu es uno de los mejores personajes de anime que se ha creado.
i as well never cry for an anime, but Code Geass made me cry, this ending not only epic but showed lelouclesh requiem his ending for a perfect world. I cried manly tears of hope and joy, he didnt deserve this ending, but he did all what he could to make a better world for not only Lunally but the others aswell. ALL HAIL LELOUCH
i never cry for sad thing in animes but code geass at the end when it explaned why lelouch did all the bad thing and what he scraficed to protect everyone and make the world he wanted i cried my eyes out. he died to create that world and made everyone hate him so that it could happened when he die by the hands of zero and so zero could be the hero for once .i watch a lot of different animes but code geass greatest anime of all time and what it makes it even sadder is that it ended
I love how this song is only played once in the entire anime, at the most important moment in the entire anime.

I rewatched it and can confirm it played only once. the most epic moment.
Man I always come back to this

How is it now after 10 years, especially 10 years of One Piece?

Extremely well edited, the part where you merged the OST with the actual scene is really great. Also, koodos for using subb-ed version :)

This is lelcouche's requiem, the ultimate requiem. I almost never cry, but at this I just can't hold my tears.
I actually spoiled it for myself by looking up how it ended. So I figured I could take it...and then I got to it and I still bawled.
Hahahaha me too! I saw spoiler titles so I knew what was going to happen but that didn't prevent the water tunnels to break free
