I'm the one who posted on your other video about these being discontinued. I hate to say it, but it is MY FAULT that Schaefer discontinued these. Yes, I often spend some weeks/months reviewing and comparing options on various clothing items before I decide which one I want to be my "go to" choice. Then, invariably, when I make my final decision and decide to "pull the trigger" and buy one or more, the item is discontinued. This happens not just with Schaefer but with other vendors as well. I had decided after looking at many options, that the Fenceline pants would be the perfect everyday pant for me, so of course when I finally decided about two weeks a go to order sever pairs, Schaefer discontinued them. Exact same thing with Schaefer's Classic Abilene shirts (several colors) and "Scout" wool coat. When I finally decided to place an order, found out based on size inquiries that all were discontinued. Then, ok so I'll try the Brushcloth Ranch Hand Jeans, they have been in Schaefer's catalog for many years. You guessed it - now discontinued. The Schaefer employee who responded to my inquiries did say that they were looking at new designs to replace the Ranchhand Fenceline and the Ranch Hand Brushcloth for this fall - so there is that hope. Just a note - I am considering several of Schaefer's Rengewax coats and jackets right now (have not bought one yet), but since I'm getting serious about them, they will no doubt all be discontinued soon. Question for you, NFD, have you ever owned and/ore reviewed the Schaefer Rangewax Mesquite jacket? It is now imported but looks to be a solid choice, but there are no reviews online that I can find.

How does the sizing compare to other pants? Do you find you need to size up or down on the waist or length?
I’d go up one inch in the waist.
