This interviewer Will has got to be one of the best that I have ever seen. Respectful. Knowledgeable giving the viewer depth of information instead of sensationalism. Someone give this man a job!!
I get the impression that Les is quite shy. It takes a good interviewer to relax him and build trust so he can be chatty like he is here. Well done, Will. What a lovely man, Les is. He was so right about the early days - the boyfriend you could never have on the bedroom wall. ❤❤
Enjoyed the interview. Here's a thought: when the Rollers had their massive success in '75, bassist Alan Longmuir had already been a gigging musician for ten years.
I’m so pleased you said this. The rollers took so much crap from the critics and the music press. They worked so hard under extreme pressure. They are often disregarded as throw away bubble gum,,I disagree. Whilst not in the same serious league as other bands of the seventies their music is fun and has a place. 💕
8/9/10 years old I was crazy about the rollers and Les made my heart bang and I felt I was in love with him ! Even though I was so young ha ha ,I desperately wanted to see them in concert but was told by mum “ You’re too young “ 😔 anyway the posters covered my walls , the best memories ever dancing in the living room with my best friend to the songs and aching to marry Les .. also Eric if I couldnt have Les ha ha .. so sad Les isn’t with us anymore , he was my first love and I will never forget him ..
I felt the exact way you did about Les. The posters, 16 magazine, and absolutely picked Eric as my #2 to marry if it couldn't be Les. My dad (bless his heart) took me to see them in NY. I was embarrassed since I saw no parents at the concert. I felt so uncool being there with my dad but it was the only way I was allowed to go. My dad spent the whole time lifting up girls that fainted and the stadium staff who got trampled and punched by fans! I could not hear one note of songs due to the volume of screaming. I never screamed. I just stood in silent awe not believing I was actually seeing Les live on stage. Like a dream. He was so gorgeous. Eric too.
Bad enough doing an interview in a backroom full of tables and chairs etc but they should have put a sign on the door saying" Interview in progress, do not enter".
FINALLY. An informed interviewer showing some kind of respect to one of Pop Music's true icons. Well done.

To all the people who have left negative comments: if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all!
Good interview, shame he's no longer with us
Nice to hear him so positive.

Thanks for your helpful comment. Sadly, life in the back room of a Chesterfield theatre isn't as glamorous.
💓😘
Great to see the lads on tour but also sad as they should be relaxing with their millions instead of getting home at two in the morning.
Well, that's my morning show for today...
Despite the cold, he actually looks like he's lost weight and looking healthier!!
Cold? Or coke user.
There were no drugs or alcohol found in his system on the day he died.
@@seahorselady1 did his son not say that hevjad started drinking again the day before he died?
has les got a bit of a cold???
Coke addict.
They didn't do you any favours did they. That aside the interview was good.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Typical Les getting pissed off at someone lol :D :p
So sad that he can't hold up without a crutch.
LES IS DOING THE GARDEN
Les on the coke
well done Les, you've screwed things up again.
I WONDER IF THEY'LL LIP SYNC THOSE SHOWS TOO.
