  • Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel! I’m so glad you’re here🤍
In this video I’ll show you everything you need to put together a pond-themed sensory bin.
I made this for my 2 and 5 year-old to go with the “Ready to Read Book 2: At the Pond” unit from Gather ‘Round Homeschool.
You could use this as part of a Pond and nature study or just on its own for fun!
You can find the water beads I used in my Amazon storefront!

Oh man! I just found your channel! You are killin' it as a new homeschool mom! I have been at it 5 years and only attempted 1 bin. It was a little sad... White beans (rocks), medicine cups, and plastic dinos. 😂 My 3 yo loved it and morphed it into a construction bin.
My question... Do you have a new bin for each theme? How do you store the items when not in use? How often do you use a bin and how long do you leave it out?
I guess that was a few questions. 😉
Great content! I look forward to getting to know you better! ❤

Hi Crystal! Nice to meet you!! Thank you so much-I think your bin sounds great! My little guy would love it! My most recent one was a gardening bin and I switched it up a little bit here and there defending on exactly what we are studying-I have a video on that one too, and a bunch of reels over on Instagram showing the different ways I’ve used it! I don’t usually leave it out, I know some people have a set-up that just stays out, but I bring it out and put it away. We just started a calling unit so I might morph it into some kind of camping bin. I’m not sure I’ll do one for summer because we’ll do a lot of playing outside with real dirt and lots of water play lol…but I am already brainstorming for next year!

I like your ideas of what to put in a pond sensory bin. My severely Autistic, nonverbal son loves sensory bins. I like to get different ideas of new ones to make. I started homeschooling him this year. He cannot go to school because of the mask mandates. You did a great job on your video.
