    The review underrates it . Ive owned loads of bikes , blades , zzrs . I was stunned how good this bike is . Its fast through corners handles well comfy , and easy to maintain . The engine is a peach . Its a nice looking bike that still gets respect. There was a time when a 600 was a big bike and it will do 120 jeez how much faster do you want to go.?

    Bought mine 2 years ago, I'm the second owner, a '95 Bandit with 74.500 kms on the clock.
    Previous owner did an average 3.000kms a year.
    Now she's going for her first 100.000 kms and she's running great, nimble, fast and really cheap - I only paid 700€ for the bike!

    I bought a new 600S naked version in 2000 in that glorious metallic candy red. My first personal big bike. I was a police biker at the time. I rode it from the west of Ireland to London and back once. Bought it because I loved the way it sounded and the retro looks. Saddle is very uncomfortable on long journeys though.

    The reason the bike looks so new and the info is out of date is that this clip is from around 1999. Shot at Salford Quays/Trafford Wharf, Manchester - tower cranes in the background are building The Lowry theatre and galleries which opened in October 2000. No BBC Media City etc - 20th Century!

    Sold a Harley dynaglide .
    Bought a 600 bandit brand new out the box 97.
    Had bikes for 20 odd years
    Ended up.not using the bike for a couple of months..work commitments.
    2000 miles on the clock.
    It wouldn't start.
    Had to take the head off
    Cut the valves in .some
    Reason they had oxadised .
    It was kept in a garage .
    The Harley & a 77 Bonneville. Had been in the same garage for 3 years.
    No problem starting them.
    Never really worked it out.
    Wouldn't buy another suzuki..

    This guy has no clue what he's talking about, Bandit GSF 600 has a GSXF 600 engine, NOT RF600R engine.

    • @seinthomas
      @seinthomas 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep you're right. Beside that, it got front suspension, brake calipers, wheels, part of rear brake light, all from RF600. He made a shortcut lol ;)

    • @garrett-gt4hz
      @garrett-gt4hz 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      RF is the same as a gsxf and a gsx and a gsf just different bores and different cams. Some rocker covers fit on most others but there is some slight variations along the seal line so some years are compatable and others not!.

    • @garrett-gt4hz
      @garrett-gt4hz 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The gsf was made completely out of parts off of other machines all ready on the market ! The only thing not recycled was the petrol tanks! And slight body work and frame design! Tho the engine mounts and shock mounts are all standard Suzuki layout n sizes !.

    • @johna6968
      @johna6968 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    "he... Or she" so this equality shit started even back in 1998? Nothing wrong with equality, don't get me wrong, but having to articulate everything specifically for women is just nuts...
    Even for me to say I don't have anything against equality is essential, otherwise I'd lose my job.

      +grabir01 This design is over twenty years old. And some people prefer standard bikes over cruisers. It is nice that bikes come in so many shapes and sizes, it gives us options.

    • @grabir01
      @grabir01 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess so.. If you are over 5'4, these bandits really cramp you... This guy looks to be 5'5 and he looked cramped riding this bike. For a Grocery getter, I guess that is ok...

      @WiseFoolTrades 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Prior to 1984, what you say about Harleys was true... But once Harley in 1984 aligned with Porsche to design and build the Evo Motors, that all changed big time.. You really need to get cracking there Snickle.

    • @adunkley92
      @adunkley92 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Ahhh but you said 50 y/o Harley haha. Still though even with Porsche on thier side, I don't think they'll ever out class the Japenese reliability. I have a '76 Suzuki gt500 that my granddad bought brand new and it has never once, like literally never, broke down and it has been rode every day of it's life.
